Are our players scared to death of going back into the changing rooms to face the coach after an unsatisfactory performance? I suspect I am far from the only one who thinks not.

Oh come on, at the moment we would be about THE most coveted job in the whole of RL wouldn't we?
More so than NRL as
a) we pay more than in Aus and
b) it's a far easier league
And whoever came in literally has no chance the team doing worse in results than this season so would have very little pressure. |

I must admit I listened with interest to his radio Leeds interview. I was hoping to hear something..not sure what exactly but something that would help me to believe he could sort this mess out.
Unfortunately it was just very similar to every interview we've heard this year. No mention of him dropping players who HAVE let him down badly at times this year. The time has probably come to make a change but there should be a few players following him out the door also.
I think we will probably look back in 3/4 years and be thankful for some of the young players McNamara recruited for this club. But he just isn't doing well enough at 1st team level and it is seriously damaging us now. I'd welcome his skills assisting these young players to develop at the club, but his time as 1st team coach surely must be coming to an end. |
