The dark days have started - Hunslet are now beating us to signings.

Wonder what he's done wrong at Leeds? Must be well out of favor to be sent to Hunslet - They'll be plenty of semi pro players happy to rough him up this weekend. Feeling slightly Jealous!

BTW, even though he's at Hunlet (this week!), we should still attempt to sign him, even if there is only the slightest chance of pulling the deal off. He's probably, imo, better than any of our current forwards.

Bailey is a nasty old bugger - but I would have him up at Odsal tomorrow if possible. We need a couple of them asap. Is it true that Ferguson could be finished as per Sculthorpe with us a few years ago.

I'd be surprised if that was the case with Ferguson. He wasn't even expecting to have surgery until recently, so the medical staff must have been confident that physio would do the trick. Even after surgery, it would be far too early to determine how the recovery will turn out.

Does anyone know if he's actually had the surgery yet?

Problem with the part time players in lower divisions is that many of them have decent jobs to accommodate them being semi pro.

When you add their working salaries on top of their part time playing salary, it becomes quite a decent wage you have to match.

Usually have a 'check the website tomorrow' tweet by now if there is an announcement to make. I assume we just ran out of time to bring anyone in before Sunday. Going to be another tough ask against an in form Widnes on their pitch.

Yes we need front rowers but we also need some back rowers.Our back 3 of Donsldson,Addy and Olbison will not scare any team.Donaldson can and will tackle,the other 2 offer nothing with ball or defence

Has he actually said we can sign anyone as I havnt read a report yet where Marc green has said there is money to sign people I've seen the staying in super league is priority but it doesn't mention new players correct me if I'm wrong

Saying SL is a priority sort of implies we need players otherwise I don't see us winning another 3 games

But it still doesn't mention anywhere in any article that we can or will sign any players !
