I'd be in favour of a smoking ban on the terraces. Plenty of other space around Odsal for those who wish to fill their lungs full of crap. Plus smokers stink, so that would be another benefit.

If you have a smoking area you take the well dispersed smoke that will nromally dissipate in the open air and intensify it into a small dangerous fog. I don't smoke but find anti-smoking zealots distasteful. Equally so, those who think they have a divine right to light-up bang in the middle of a packed terrace
The club can be pragmatic, avoid overtly banning it but ask people to not smoke in the very middle of standing fans. I've seen a lot of reasonable smokers puprosefully standing at the edges.

Ah the anti smoking nazis at it again! Is it the smell or the non existent so called health issues that bother you? If its the latter do some more research about the crap you breath in each day and then you'll get some perspective about much of a problem cigarette smoke is. If its the smell then can we have a section for those who do not wash regularly, a section for those who fart, a section for those who like to use foul and abusive language and a section for those who use lynx deodorant? Live and let live ffs!

Less of the nazi stuff please. All that has been said is could there be a small standing area for non smokers?
Why should i pay extra to go in the stand just not to breath in smoke? |

I believe the impact of passive smoking is massively overplayed. I also know that people smoking next to you, if you don't partake yourself, can make your eyes stream and cause you to cough. That's a genuine physical reaction not a Roy Castle fabrication.
You can't really liken that to body odour which, though unpleasant, is not going to affect you like that. |
