this raises an interesting point. He was named in saints 19 man squad for the game on gamble ban would be overturned. Will saints now be allowed to name someone else in the 19 man squad?

AFAIK the only valid qualifying reason for replacing someone in 19 man squad is injury .

(although leeds totally ignored this rule when they re-signed lee smith for last years easter fixture and though the question was raised by league express as to his validity RFL never clarified the rule).

As far as I'm concerned, he shouldn't be. They took the risk, it backfired. Tough really.
