Reardon once again got isolated to allow a try, Sheriffe needs to front up under the pressure of taking a high ball on the line, Halley for all his endeavours is not a full back and that will be a talking point, Sykes can do it, so can Reardon and Platty should be given another chance there!

Positive evening with a big improvement from most of the players. Only disappointment for me was the lack of concentration late in the game. I hope we can build some momentum starting next week and try to put as close to an eighty minutes performance in as possible as we have a string of tough games over the horizon.

IMO neither Sykes or Platt look particularly comfortable at FB. Halley hasn't quite hit top form yet but he hasn't done a lot wrong either. Platt has looked far better at centre and I think he is better off staying there.

Reardon I am sure would go well at FB but I don't see any real need for a change around just yet.

Much better performance last night. What a contrast in attitude with last week. Players actually took the ball up at pace and we gave our playmakers some options, and we kept it going beyond the first 5 mins.

Obviously there are areas still of concern. Our defence was better but still looked a bit lost defending kicks and against well organised attak with dummy runners.

All in all something to build on. Some positive signs but now the team must show some consistency and prove it's not a flash in the pan.

Did I regret not going? Not really, I had other reasons not to be there but enjoyed watching on telly.

We were really impressive last night and the halves were clicking and Langley played out of his skin and for me deserved MoM but let's not get carried away and see if we can go on a winning run but good luck to Owen, he is a good young talent.

The thing that concerns me is we seem to be defending really quite well for five out of six tackles and terribly for one (not necessarily the sixth).

This suggests to me that it is a mental or concentration thing. I don't know if that is easier to fix than poor technique or not.

I am reserving judgement til we have performed against a top 5 side. One win does not make a resurgence.

Good win last night. Only catched 2nd half due to delayed train.

Seemed a lot better in attack. A good response. Lets hope we can do what we hardly did ever last season and kick on from it.
