I know worrincy's the current popular scapegoat but what exactly did you feel he did wrong today to warrant being dropped?

Nothing. I'd just like to see Whitehead get another go, he'd done nothing to warrant dropping when he got dropped.

Equally, why was Cook dropped this week, he did nothing to warrant dropping for Worrincy last week.

Squad rotation?

He turned his ankle (?) in the incident under the posts just as we were making our last couple of subs, he didnt point it out to anyone from the coaching staff and played on, then when it was obvious he couldn't run at full speed sheriffe filled in at FB. I think he'd have been pulled off if we had a sub left. he still put in a tackle and a chase on the wing though on his one good leg, top stuff.

without reading the whole thread (I've just got in and off to the land of nod soon) it was a great team performance today. Still disappointed with Deacons contribution, but he was not as bad as he has been earlier in the season.

Godwin was my MOM, closely followed by Lynch and Langley. Scruton also put in a good shift and it was good to see Platt play well and get some deserved applause from the crowd for some fine hits in defence and an overall good performance at . Sykes was excellent for the majority of the game today playing behind a dominant pack, but I still have my doubts about him as the final solution at 6, but on that showing today and last week he could well prove me wrong, I hope he does.

Great stuff overall, just happy to be happy coming away from Odsal for a change. The season lives on, but Im not convinced we'd make much a dent in the playoffs if we get there, but you never know...and thats the point!

I have two criticisms.

Seriously.. why don't we make meters from penalties? He kicks the ball 10 meters when he could easily make 30 or 40.

Then there was Burgess being a greedy mofo when he should have passed left or right to give someone a try under the sticks, but decided to go himself.

Other than that.. I'm relatively optimistic we're heading towards the playoffs

I'm not convinced to be honest, I think Catalans in France will be a much tougher assignment for Wakefield. And even then we're hoping both Wire and Quins lose a game each. Plus I reckon Hull away will be a tough game for us.. I'm far from confident about a play off spot.

Well, as the fella who first listed for you the remaining fixtures of the "playoff chasers" and pointed out that they'd all be inevitably taking points off each other, I can now say I told you so and so it has come to pass.

Of course Wire and Quins will be overhauled, and it all rests on Wakefield. Fsck knows what their attitude will be but if they win in France then we WILL be 8th, and that's the bottom line.

Mind you, if we'd won at home the week I posted that, instead of contriving a loss again, we'd now be hot favourites to make the 8!
