| Can't see this squad being strong enough to get off negative points this weekend unfortunately. Hope we've only named 18 because we're waiting for a decision on Murray from Salford, and we get him on, slightly improves our chances. I've no doubt the lads will give everything, but the Fax pack will be too strong. Imho, we need Dan more than Dane at the moment.
In today's YP, Powell was quoted as saying he'd make a decision on their loan players after Friday's game for Monday. Let's hope they have a good win on Friday, with no injuries, along with Salford, but Leeds have lots of minor knocks in the forwards so there are no DR with Fev on Monday

| Quote eddievan="eddievan"Not wishing to bull up our chances but to be described as a mid table team by a Halifax fan is a bit disingenuous. If we hadn't had the 12 points deduction we would be on the same points as them with a very similar points difference. That's with hardly any pre season work and a team not put together until three games into the season. If we are a mid table team this would suggest that Halifax are too. I think we have done amazingly well from where we started.'"
You are presuming I think that Fax are a top 4 side which I don't. Stating the obvious but Bradford have no chance of making the top 4 because of their points deduction where as Fax could sneak in and to do that they would have to win games like this.
It seems a it strange Salford not making players available to Bradford when they have made DR players available to Fax this week.

| Was quite optimistic for this one. Slightly less optimistic now.
Need as less disruption as possible.
Keyes in for Lilley.
Where's Peltier?

| Peltier still had some strapping on his hand on Sunday, didn't look thick enough to be a cast though.
Basically it all comes down to props for us. If we have enough, then we will get results like Toulouse & Swinton & Batley.
If we're short of props, then we'll have results like Rochdale & Oldham.
Our back line is fine, matches any in this division.

Agreed. Need to get in 2 or 3 that have been playing at least C1 five years or so, unless of course we can pluck out another few Murray and Oledski's.

Let's be right. Fax ARE a top 4 side - the table says so, I believe.
I think it's fair to say the table doesn't tell the entire truth with our position as, with no deduction, we'd be just below you on scoring difference, so I suppose we've had similar seasons, results wise. We are very reliant on the loanees though, as we have an unbalanced team with too many very young players, and it seems we won't have too many of the loan players over Easter, so we'll have an even younger age profile than normal, though I suspect we won't be alone in that.
I think Fax are favourites for this game, chiefly because we're light in the pack and your lot are always up for this game. If Fax are a bit 'wayward' though, we certainly have the backs to punish the errors. If I were a betting man, which I'm not, then my money would be on a Halifax win.

| Well the bookies can't separate us. If i were Fax i would play it simple with 5 drives and a kick and i think they'll get the win. But as Bulliac says if they start making errors we certainly have the backs to hurt them.
