| For my money, the best performance of the day goes to the Red Arrows who did a super low flying show, in tight formation, over our coach as we went up the top end of the M6 - and to prove it was no fluke, a second lot did it again ten seconds later. Shame about the rugby....

One of those days for him.

Not just the fact he had a mare, playing him in a pivotal role completely breaks our attack. The drop off ball that takes about 15 seconds to complete is easy to defend against.
Cannot wait to see some proper half backs next year and if one gets injured, we have a proper half back to replace them with.

| I was surprised to see him in the side TBH.
He seemed to have the opposite of the Midas touch.

Hobbo spent almost the entire commentary calling for him to be substituted. It did seem from the radio commentary that almost every mistake had Addy's name written on it, but without seeing it for yourself, it's sometimes hard to say for sure.
To be honest, the team for me screamed that they were resting anyone with even a slight injury to make sure they're ok for the semi final. Wouldn't be surprised to see the same this week.

| yes, it's all his fault for not kicking that conversion...
it was one 'mare, I think another posters comment was he needs a move for his benefit, and I agree, I cannot take the current display from him as representative of his skills. He has always tried his hardest - maybe too much - to do what was asked of him, through the worst off field period in just about any clubs history. Time for him to take care of his future.

| As we've alleged to have signed Addy can someone give me any positives on him as I can't seem to find any on here and it does seem a strange signing to me and I'm failing to see were he fits in

| Positives – He can kick 40-20s, pass superbly, back up very well, occasionally hit hard in defence and boot conversions from the touchline under extreme pressure. He will put his hand up when others go missing. He’ll give 100%.
Negatives – He is infuriatingly inconsistent, often within the same 80mins. For every killer pass he can throw one into touch. For every 40-20 one can go directly out. For every big tackle there is a feeble shoulder grab. For every touchline conversion under pressure he’ll miss a sitter.
He’s be criminally misused at Bradford. He’s a backrow forward who’s been forced to play as a playmaker. As a result none of his skills have been fully formed because he’s trying to do too much. He’s sacrificed a lot of his career by trying to do everything and filling holes made thanks to our awful recruitment and off field mismanagement. It’s testament to the bloke that he’s been with us this long.
I said he needs a move. Wherever he goes he needs to be in a side where he can concentrate on playing in the backrow and not be the “go to guy” for everything.

| Agree with your assessment Bullseye. Just hope that being played out of position so many times in last couple of years haven't ruined him

| I would agree with that. But I'd also add a negative of being an incredibly slow and laboured passer at times. There's been occasions he's taken so long to make the pass that he may as well have had a megaphone to announce to the defensive line who he was throwing the ball to and when.
I fear that the good side of his character (the willing to do whatever is needed for the team, be it playing in the halves or at prop) will be his downfall. I can't see any coach not being tempted to move him into the position of an injured player during the game, if there isn't someone ready made for that position already. He's just one of those "he'll do a job" types which is great for a coach, but not necessarily great for him personally, and not particularly good for his development.

| I fear him at HKR. They have half backs who are always unlucky with injury, you can see him filling in at 6 or 7 for most of the year!

I don't disagree with any of that, but his inconsistency is what makes him a liability. He ain't the first and won't be the last. You can only get away with being badly inconsistent if you'r as good as, say, Shaun Johnson. Unfortunately for Addy, the good stuff to bad stuff ratio has tipped in a negative favour this year - albeit it might be because of several mitigating factors.
And his defence has always been terrible.
