Mick's now tweeted that the new owner isn't a person or a thing, it is a smell. He hasn't given any details what the smell is but apparently it is pleasant.

The new odour will be announced next week.

It's the standard logical marriage of 2 great brands. Previously trotted out in 2014 & 2012. We would be affiliating ourselves with Red Bull & Formula 1, so it's a bit of a downgrade but beggars can't be choosers I suppose.

For one thing it'd be simple branding plus financially we'd be on a more even footing with the bigger funded clubs in the league and hopefully that'll help us in our push towards promotion back to SL

Agreed Roofy. we changed from Northern after the best part of 100 years so sticking Red [amber and black] in front now is hardly a gamebreaker.
