Mullaney isn't our answer at scrum half in my opinion. With need a specialist and a dominant figure who can guide the whole team around the park. Liam Finn isn't a bad shout if he's available, he isn't spectacular but he does seem a very consistent performer with a good kicking game. And we could certainly do with a kicking game!

I agree, and as much as I like Mullaney, we need a 7 who isnt as prone to missing games as much as Mullaney appears to be. Finn is a good shout....so probably not going to happen. icon_sad.gif

I'd prefer we kept Mullaney as FB and brought in a proper 7.

You'd expect a decent scrum half to be at yhe top of the shopping list.

Mullaney's too fragile to be our 1st chouce halfback. Besides he's better at fullback.

Siejka's been outplayed by every halfback he's come up against so anyone would be an improvement.

Leigh fans reckon they'll be offloading a few, including some big nasty props that some of us are after like Acton and Barlow.

Lets get Moi Moi just for the laugh of the long time rumour!!

Moi Moi would have been good back in the day, not so much now

Action, from what I've seen, fits more into the 'thug' category - but I'd take Barlow definitely

And there must at least one rough and ready prop forward at a Championship club who would be tempted to join us?

Quote: hindle xiii "I can see Uaisele and Ulugia going, they fell out of favour and take up quota spots; Davies and Henry have given us more spots. Although I think Henry was classed as Non-Fed Trined but not Overseas, and Siejka takes up the other "half".'"

Think you have that back to front with Henry - he IS on the overseas list but IS fed trained [so not on the non-fed list] Siejka is EC [therefore not overseas] but IS on the not fed trained list, so as you say, 'twins' with Siejka.

It's slim pickings really.
I can't see us tempting anyone over from Leigh, although I would certainly take Hopkins.
The two decent Halifax props have recently signed new deals.
Dewsbury have just signed Matt Groat and Tonks from Sheffield. Aizue has left them and signed for someone else (I forget who).
I would take Dollapi from London but I'm not sure he's ooc/available.
Keegan Hirst was another who looked decent, but I think he signed a new deal recently as well.

We've been linked with Clark from Doncaster, who seems like he could add some grunt.

And then we're kind of left with Fev and the lower league clubs. Who are the Fev props? Baldwinson?
He must have improved a hell of a lot since he was with us. He got the Championship young player of the year award but I wasn't impressed by him at all when he was here on loan. At any rate, I think Leeds have recalled him.

Samir Tahraoui will be returning for next season. His loan deal at Keighley has ended and he is back at Odsal for 2016. Confirmed by the Cougars today.
