| Poor old Leigh. We told them what they would get if the made the mistake of signing Hock, and the pigeons have come home to roost. Single-handedly cost them the game. I was just amazed how he did't get the hook before he had the chance to concede that mad penalty under the sticks. And who knows how vital losing what was surely otherwise a heard-earned 2 points might eventually be?

| the concern about the Leigh game to me was that the KR players had that bit more experience when it mattered. Dixon looked solid when normally he looks like a problem in SL. Sio was head and shoulders above the Leigh backs.
Although Leigh finished above us I do believe we have a more experienced team of 17 that have more SL time. Our backs are better as individuals. Our problem has been that they have not played together long enough. Leigh's bully boy tack ticks let them down in the second half and Moi Moi is worse than Lauaki. Inexperience allowed KR back in to it.
My prediction is we will surprise the Leigh fans and finish above them in this play-offs - if the team plays to its potential from the kick off till the final whistle. I do believe we have a better team - as a whole apart from No 7. No I am not still hung over!

| Rovers are a team that couldn't buy an away win in SL and now they have beaten Bulls and Leigh away. They looked much less effective yesterday without their halfbacks ...I still have nightmares about Mantellato rising above our defence and that didn't happen yesterday. Beating any of the SL teams will be massive for us.

You look at the back line we had that game and it's amazing we even got within 20 of KR who also had Campese and Kelly on their side.
I agree with Woolly. You look at our line up and it's a super league side in everything but name. Just need everything to come together for us now. It all starts today!

| Thought Leigh played fairly well with ball in hand, to be fair, but with a SL referee insisting on quick ptbs they seemed to lose the energy battle and faded away in the second half as Rover got on top. They also lost their discipline again - where was Joe Cobb when they needed him?

Where indeed ?
You just know he will make an appearance when it really matters......probably when we go there.

| Bradford and Leigh are pretty much even stevens in their progress and standard. Look at the league's and similar results. Leigh lost the Warrington match in the later stages and the same happened against KR. Just ran out of steam. We and Leigh have had the luxury of less intense games and its worth considering the value of that. Its much more important today to maintain a tempo that will be of SL standard. Looking forward to the match.....

| I really feel that we need to win well today as I think points difference may be a big factor in deciding final places in 2 months time

| True ... I also know the Sheffield with it being the first game in the mixup, that they will be "up for it" and will be fierce! Our forwards have to be dominant....

Leigh's mentality is that they will outscore the opposition. Its commendable but against SL opoosition they're always going to offer them a lifeline. They've got a difficult trip to Salford next week. It will be interesting to see how they react if they start 0-2.

Again thats a championship mentality. I was not at our KR match (Work) but we fell away in the same circumstances as Leigh have done. We just did not have enough to push on for the victory.
Ignoring Salfords internal problems, they will be a tough proposition on there own turf. 0-2 will be a statement that could affect them badly and the realisation that SL is a bigger step up than they had really imagined.

| Great half of rugby. Could have had another couple of tries too.
Defence has been good, disappointed to concede a try but goal line defence looks more confident than last few weeks.
The reaction when Addy kicked a 40-20 sums it up for me - we are ready to step up our game and 1-17 look up for it.
Both centres playing well - think Henry will still get cut as his defence will show against SL sides.

| Great stuff. When we are up for it and our key men are playing, we now look a class above. The gulf between us and Sheffield, who are no mugs, was clear to see.
If the first half pass to O'Brien had stuck, and finished off another great try, then the score could have been anything. We hit a purple patch at that point.
Also, whilst the reffing was not bad (i will abstain from comment on the so-called touch judges) the fact is that we were considerably the wrong side of most of the 50/50 calls, some ludicrous forward passes were let go, and sadly some foul play too. A very encouraging thing was that we never let any of it bother us, we just got on with it.

| Mullaney off injured again
Seriously, Mullaney's injury record makes Gary Wheeler look like the man of steel.

| Really impressed by our performance today. Our intensity in the first 20 minutes was very good and we were rewarded with a few quick tries. The interplay between O'Brien, Gaskell and Mullaney around the ruck was a joy to watch. In the second half we eased off a little and closed the game out well, and bagged a few tries towards the back end of the half.
I was happy with the home debuts of Ryan and Clare. Ryan took a lot of men to put down and Clare looks a solid player. Both look like great signings IMO.
All of the players in our pack did a great job, Ferguson especially for me, who made several metres after the contact every time, often with about three players trying to put him down. Crossley also did well off the bench.
Think the only change I'd make for Wakefield is Nielsen in for either Purtell or Henry.
