Look, I never professed to 'know more than you' about the club.
Recently on the Wakefield forums, you had a go at a cas fan for making comments about Wakey's future. Despite that, you then come on here and do [iexactly the same thing[/i. So straight away you look like a colossal hypocrite and the tone of your initial post gets people's backs up.
All I did in my response was use information that is public knowledge to point out all of the things you got wrong. As soon as I spot so much that is incorrect, the credibility of everything else you put becomes zero.
Now I can't comment on how our wages were paid, because as just a fan it's nothing to do with me, but September's pay date has been and gone without a sniff of trouble. Even Mr Whitehead has had nothing to say on the matter, he usually loves to make a snide comment or two.
But again you are wrong with more of your statements. The rfl are not basing their decisions on our annual accounts. We have prepared business plans for that, which will be budgets and cashflow forecasts for the next 5 years or so (according to Whitcut, they have a 5 year plan). The co-owners will provide proof of funds, along with other documentation to prove their identity.
None of that has anything to do with companies house or the annual accounts we need to file before the end of May next year.
Nor does it have anything to do with a late annual return. Companies will NEVER be fined for a late annual return. All that will happen is that they will receive a couple of reminders and warnings that not filing an AR can result in a company being struck off the register. But this takes MONTHS to come about, and our AR is 15 days late as of today. Hardly anything to get in a panic over.
Whitcut expects the decision to be made sooner rather than later, let's see what next week brings. For your sake, I hope it brings more than half a dozen season tickets your way.
