that is right...a players contract should cease to exist if the club drop out of SL. For 13 clubs a player may have a reasonable expectation that they will have 2 more years in SL for the Bulls it is potentially more doubtful. Sure Bulls will offer contracts of more than a year. They will probably have to pay 'overs' to get players.

Brilliant As well as them on here they will be some on the T&A forum gnashing their teeth and kicking the dog.
What a brilliant day I always said I couldn`t careless what league we played in as long as we had a club to support, but to remain in SL is superb. I thought because every club had to reapply to remain in SL that constituted being on probation.

| This decison is a complete farce, Bradford should start next season down in NL2 and come back up that way. we don't need a mini licensing round, the Championship clubs just have a year to get everything in order to make a licence application. Super League can still carry on without them with 13 teams next year, and the year after if necessary. Why should the clubs in the Championship get their finances etc in order ready for a franchise application when a current franchise goes into administration but nothing happens to them.

| This makes it more difficult to understand why Potter left after waiting nearly 6 months for a resolution, when he could have waited a few more days if he was so keen to stay on.
Appears there could be other reasons than those officially published in the press for him leaving.

I guess we can all speculate. Shame he's gone, it really is. I wouldn't have hesitated in giving him another 3 years.
But he's gone. We've lost good men before and recovered.

I think Potter made his decision months ago.
Decent man that he is, he stuck the season out for us (lesson for Mr Kopczak). I doubt anything would have kept him here once his mind was made up.

| Wouldn't say sugar daddy mate. The real sugar daddies have millions. We have hundreds of thousands at most if that tbqh. He can't put a world class team together and bankroll us :/
And I believe Potter left because OK offered him 50% wage. Hence the sudden outburst on the T and A regarding a future coach.
