| I am not just saying this because I am a Bradford fan. I said this 1 year ago as well. Huddersfield are scum and are a scummy set-up. They are vile.
I said the same when they picked apart Wakey even when there was a fighting chance of them staying up. Nobody else did until AFTER things had got sorted. Same here. Hudds picking our players when nobody else is. Absolute disgrace to the sport. And after everything the top teams have done for us I feel as though we owe them as their support has been huge. As for Huddersfield they can f!?k off (pardon the language).
To be fair I actually like Leeds more than Huddersfield (and that is painful to say) but when Leeds play Hudds next season (or in the playoffs and this weekend) my support with be right behind our nearest and dearest rivals.
I hope all the other 13 super league clubs don't forget what Hudds did when they inevitably go bust when Davy pulls out. And I hope they all take the same stand and rip them to pieces.
I know a few on here will say this is childish etc etc but to be honest I do not care This is my view on Hudds. Other clubs are fine.

| Cannot read the whole thread but
key point as i understand is this bit.
Quote: Craig was notified by the joint administrators by letter dated September 3, 2012 that his playing contract had transferred with effect from August 31, 2012 to OK Bulls Ltd.
"In a statement issued to Press Association Sport, Shuttleworth said
Not his fault he has protected himself.
Has no idea which league he will be playing in next year, what his salary or terms and conditions will be etc.
Not sure if Bradford's legal advice is very good.
If they had not listened to their solicitors before re Harris they might not have gone bankrupt. !!!!
And as for all the morality bit some on here are spouting. You have done your share of raiding weaker clubs in the past as have other teams.
When we got relegated everyone was happy to pick our bones.
You also used to do a good job of taking Huddersfields youngsters offering them more money.
I dont know all the ins and outs but i am aware that HUDDERSFIELD were not the one club that voted going to 13 teams and booting Bradford out of SL. That was someone else

| Enlighten us to who it was then? And yes when you were RELEGATED. We have not been. There is a huge difference.

| Pi$$ poor of Koppy. If he wanted to go couldnt he have waited till the end os the season. I dont for one minute think we will make the 8 but this wont help the team. No matter what happens today I was really impressed with the team spirit show by the coaches, players and the fans. This puts a huge downer on things for me. He has just come back from a long injury and I think he owed it to us all to complete the season. I wish him no luck at all.

Please if you're going to troll at least make sure you get your facts straight, he knew exactly what his contract and pay would be if we were relegated, exactly the same as if he was playing in superleague.
We're not going bust because of the Harris deal although it's one of the many things that came together to put us in the position that we were in.

No he would not, because...
1. The salary cap in the Championship is £300k (and £150k in Championship 1) compared to the £1.6m in SL, so players could not possibly be paid the same if the club lost its SL status, and anyway..
2. SL player contracts become automatically null and void if the club loses its SL status

1. It maybe but unless there was a relegation clause in the bulls players contract then players would be on the same money as before...there was/is no clause in their contracts.
2. See first point
3. Jog on

ALL SL contracts have a standard clause in them, that if any club is relegated from SL then all player contracts at that club become null and void and the players become free agents. Its a standard paragraph that the RFL insists on being in all players contracts. Its to stop clubs being left with large liabilities to players if they lose their SL income.
Additionally, as stated, the RFL would not allow you to retain high earning players on your register anyway as you would be excessively breaching the salary cap if you were in CC or CC1. So one way or another you lose the players anyway.

No clauses in the contracts about relegation as confirmed by the RFL, another issue unfortunately they uncovered.

| If Kopczak claims that his contract became void on 31 August, but played on 1 September, would that not infer an acceptance of the TUPE to the new company. He surely shouldn't have played if not contracted.

As far as we are aware, we are still in SL though, which makes the argument irrelevant. At the moment.
Fact is, Koppy has been paid, without fail, every month. The SL clubs agreed to not approach the players while they were still in SL. So we have a right to be
p!$$ed off with both Koppy and the mysterious SL club.

The quote from the manager states he got the letter on the 3rd September so can't see how we could argue that, however I'd be interested if any one knows if that arguement would apply to those who played today...

| Does anyone know how many games he has actually played this season? It doesn't seem like he's played in many. My point being that the team has been winning without him so will he be missed anyway?
