| Wonder what's going to happen for the rest of the season, are they going to be able to field a team to play their last four games (us being one of them), with their players not been paid in quite a while and now this I wouldn't be surprised to see a walk out. Could be a pretty easy two points come September.

| I read a couple of players are pi$$ed as they have not been paid recently.
Knowing they will not have a club next year - why would they turn up and play? Going to be interesting this week!

| I'd take Michael Witt, Jarrod Sammutt and even Jason Chan and Elliott Kear as all are an improvement of what we have to be honest.

| add hanbury to that. any one of witt, hanbury or sammut (probably in that order) would be an upgrade on herbert. Witt or hanbury preferably as there more organiser IMO whereas sammut is just a btter version of gale/briggs/jeffries. Think we need someone to complement the players we have rather than just do the same.

| due to today's news we should definatley be looking at Michael Witt.
im a big fan of him and was hoping we would sign ahead of crusdaers when he came across here. although i am a massive fan of herbert id be happy if herbie left for Witt. people on here are saying Sammut would be an excellent signing but he is not the type of half we need. we need someone to control the game and Witt does that very well, he has a very good kicking game and is agressive. something we are lacking greatley.
definatley a player we should be considering

| Well I didn't see that one coming! Pleased for Wakefield, but they have to fulfil their promises pretty quickly I would imagine. The RFL reserve the right to revoke a licence if they don't so I assume that means they aren't 'safe' for 3 years.
The Crusaders were a bit of joke in all honesty. Poor crowds and struggling to balance the books it would seem. I'd like to see a genuine presence in Wales but fast tracking it in just didn't work. It will be interesting to see where they go from here.

| Comparing Herbert and Sammut on sl website suggests theyd work well together. Herbert to create, sammut to threaten.
Sammuts defence looks okay (statistically) aswell

witt herbert would be more dangerous. herbert and sammut are not controlling halves...witt on the other hand is. witt herbert would be dangerous....

| The way things are going, I wouldn't be surprised to see Wire pick up the entire Crusaders squad for the 2012 season
