Nice of you to pop in Michael. Have a safe journey down under.

Quote: paulwalker71 "Hmmmm.

Hall was given the 21 shirt - the shirt that has been 'retired' after Karl Fairbank used it. Seems odd that a player now rumoured to be leavng would be given a shirt number that he - presumably - isn't going to be permitted to use....

Or am I adding 2 and 2 together and getting 5 ?'"

your reading too much into t&a article. while it said squad came from bulls, its never appeared on club website or any other sporting news website for that matter. And article specifically said not to read anything into numbers. Think it was basically a preliminary 25 man squad that club has to submit to RFL and final squad and numbers assigned will bear only a passing resemblance to it.

Best of luck to him. As I've said before, it's hard to judge a player in a bad team.

He's young enough to to go over there, learn a lot and come back a better player. Personally, I would have liked to have seen what could have been made of him for Bradford under a better coach... As it his, the potential could be exploited for an Aussie club.

Best of luck Michael, it'd be good to see you turn things around and make a go of it over there.

Good luck to the lad. People are talking as though he's going to be on a big wage at the Panthers - he'll be on far less than ihe could get in SL. He's backing himself to make a go of it, and given the areas of his game that need to be improved, he couldn't do better than go to Australia and get the best coaching and chance to get there. I wish more English players had the guts to do what he's doing.

I partially agree. But from what I have seen the weaknesses in his game are so fundamental that even a coach of the calibre of MacB must have pointed them out to Worrincy so I am not sure he is capable of rectifying them before it is too late. I am not sure how many English players get the opportunity & am still a bit baffled as to how it occurred, but as most have said, good luck & grab it with both hands.

When the kid gets some half decsent players round him and a good coach i think the lad will make a very good player, somthing he has not had at the Bulls for the last few years.

He'll be playing under less pressure for the reserves for a long while - plenty of time to work on his game without trying to be a star. Based on what we see playing for England I wouldn't be at all sure that players get the sort of basic coaching that you might expect - clueless centres, halfbacks with no kicking/passing game etc.

His last tweet was 3 days ago in Hong Kong Airport saying he was lost. Is he going to end up like Tom Hanks in [iThe Terminal?[/i

That beggars belief HK is one the easiest airports to arrive in depart from or just transit through, the C DG in Paris I could understand. It's a good job Sydney airport isn't to large!

If you can get lost within a rectangle of around 100 metres by 60 and marked out with whitewash, it shouldn't be too difficult, even in the easiest airport........... icon_ask.gif

Apparently Worrincy's nickname is "the black pearl", though when asked about it he replied "well i've been called a lot of things"

Read that article earlier and had a chuckle. Would love to see highlights reel his agent put together. Penrith fans are in for a shock when they see him play icon_biggrin.gif
