Hence why he won 2009 Player Of The Year from that position. Makes sense.

Halley looked awesome at fullback last season, but he's not quite carried on that promise he shown last year, but neither has the team. Platt has certainly found his position at centre, i cant belive how much he has improved, i'd certainly have him over Sykes and Nero as first choice centre, he's fast, powerfull and can defend. I would'nt mind seeing Nero at 2nd row next season if we retain him, let him see a bit more of the ball. Nero, Whitehead and Langley as the backrow.

Couldn't agree more. The difference is amazing and he's turning out to be a really good centre and agree he's our best at the moment. He seems to have really turned the fans round too from those that used to boo when he came on the field, to most now accepting him as the first choice player. Personally I think the best thing is his effort. No matter how poor the side has looked at times, Platt always looks to be giving 110%. Good on him for it.

I wouldn't mind seeing him there now in place of a certain backrower none of us want to see play again. Let Wardle or Crookes have a bash in the centres.

We won't re-sign Nero as a backrower.

we already have Langley, Hall, Whitehead, Donaldson & Olbison and that is without Menzies re-signing.

Agree re Platt, he is our best centre now and he'll only get better there.

I think Halley has put on a bit too much bulk, which has lost him some of his pace (which has always been his best attribute) give him this off season to work on it and lets see how he comes back (he'll be playing for a new contract too)

Thing i like about Platt is he look's for the gap, if there isnt one, he runs the ball in at 100mph.

Apparently (definitely taking this one with a pinch of salt seen as it came from a Whino) Potter will be bringing Gardner over with him.

Wouldn't be too disappointed with him tbh, after all the stick he gets, he's better than any of our current wing options.

Agreed. Always running the ball in as hard as he can, always looking for work, always giving 100%. Exactly the type of player you want on your team.

At the middle of last season we were all questioning that 3 year deal, i'm certainly not anymore.

he would bring quite a bit of pace to the team, i wouldn't be gutted to see him arrive.

Ade Gardner would be a good signing, a massive improvement on Sheriffe.

Has the groundsman resigned? Or does Peter Hood need his window box re-potting?

who said it has relevance to hull d040.gif im saying it has a rugby league fan, saying that if players like worrincy, sherrife ect are in the team nxt year then we wont see ya in the top 4 nxt year nothing to do with hull. and up and till now we have been in top 4 anyway for most of the year and still have a great chance of finishing there.
