Yep, but that pretty much sealed it and showed the club's lack of ambition to do anything about it.

| robbie and radford were probably going end of that year no matter what but we ended up losing pryce and peacock in same year which was a blow and then les and hape would have prob gone for money in union anyway but we had to sell fielden (which since does look like it was not the biggest loss as he has never hit his early bradford form).
Pryce and peacock for me although peacock would be the foremost as his medals cabinet would testify. Either having testimonials and less of their wage on the cap would have been a bonus as well.

| I'll humbly forward the retirement of Joe. Massive for us both as a player and for the club in general and we've not qualified for the play off's since he left.

| Peacock IMO. When you see how he's carried the Leeds pack since 2006 and what he's achieved it was a crime to allow him to leave.

I have to agree. Biggest mistake the Bulls have made in the SL era was to the guy off and let him leave

| Yup, JP has been the greatest player of the Super League era over here - his record speaks for itself, if what has been reported, and stated in JP's book about Caisley's attitude to his contract negotiations it simply beggars belief.
Nobby was also a huge loss, but one that may have been mitigated by an appointment of a more experienced and shrewder operator than McNamara - who was in way over his head.

| Biggest Loss Nobby
Players come & go, losing Peacock was a loss too. But losing nobby in my opinion was a huge loss.

Lack of finances = lack of ambition?? I think not!
The ambition has been there but the cash hasn't. Any decent coach whether from SL or the NRL would not have made a silks purse out of a sows ear the way the Bulls finances have been. Mistakes have been made that with "hindsight"could have helped to ease the pain, but its been a steep and painful learning curve for the Fans. Team and Management. This season gone, should have finally laid the "Glory Days" to rest. so we can now look forward to MP get the Club underway to getting them back.
