He looks lazy and unfit, his tackling technique is shocking. He can not even be named in the same breath as Big Les, even though he wasnt the best at first. I'd give Finigan a run out, or even have Sykes at centre over Ah Van.

How Royston is not getting in the team over Ah Van is a complete joke.

He is pretty average unfortunately. I can't help but worry than we've given him a new contract too..

I hope his recent falling away of performance levels is as a result of being told he[i isn't[/i getting a new deal.

Far too many lazy, unforced errors and looses the ball way too easily for a bloke of his size. The best way to describe him would be lethargic at best.

Summed him up today when he burst out of the line, missed the tackle, turned his back on the play and was still ambling back into the line with his back to the PTB about three seconds after Les Cats had played it.

Not good enough and should not be retained, Briggs is a goal kicker and he should (hopefully) be back next season.
