Can't decide what to make of this.. he is undoubtedly a talented player but carries a fair amount of risk. I presume the club must be fairly confident of obtaining a visa for him though to have even of signed him.

Bird + Deacon with Jeffries as cover certainly sounds promising.
Seems rather silly though if we risk the chance of losing him midway through the season. |

I wouldn't be unduly worried to lose him for a few weeks part way through IF he was available for the latter end of the season and his heart is in it.
There is a lot of if's and but's to this potential deal and it's far from straight forward. Which is why he could be a very good buy or a complete disaster! I'm just hoping that Macca and Hood have done their homework and see it as an educated and informed risk! |
