You say away fans can stand with you as long as they behave but last year at the same fixture me a rhinos fan and 6 other rhinos fans were stood behind the tunnel about half way up with all our friends who are bradford fans i had my 4 year old daughter with me and when leeds scored we were all hit with bottles that were thrown from higher in the stand also at the end of said game bottles were thrown at players.

and as for last night i know the leeds fan that was fighting no matter what he did and who started it the poor lad is a mess when he hit the floor it wasnt just one person hitting him it was a free for all the police have the video filmed by a bradford fan of lads running in kicking him and running off.

i have friends who are wigan fans saints fans bradford fans and cas fans all have stood with me in the southstand on the half way line bang in the middle and never had a once of trouble!

Not going to say too much on this as I personally didn't see any trouble, but if someone is being a tool get the stewards to sort it out, that said if someone took a swing for my family you don't know how you would react.

General point is this sort of idiotic behaviour is thankfully in the minority. I travelled to the 2003 CC and 2005 GF both on Bradford organised bus ( as Leeds fan). My mate is bulls fan I sorted tickets he sorted transport. Both trips were excellent great banter, yes I got the pee taken out of me and I gave it back but was all good natured, hopefully this can carry on and not let the odd iddiots from both sides ruin a good tradition. Unlike at football I feel in rugby I can stand with my mates who support opposition and not get chinned and I hope

As has already been said it's a very small minority. There were a few older blokes around me who went to try and calm it down as the stewards were doing nothing at all. I can confirm what 1 poster said, the steward near us went over to the incident and watched it happen. The fans around were all waving at the stewards to try and get it sorted but they were slow and didn't look bothered tbh.

There's no need really. The Bradford fans are certainly in the wrong, but when people have had a few beers it's not the cleverest thing to do taunting the home fans. Not saying they should have reacted, they should have risen above it, but ed up blokes don't.

I hope the ones who ran in to make it into a mass brawl instead of a little punch up should be the ones who are banned.

Just about every RL fan you meet are decent and honest, and I don't think there's many who want to see that at a rugby game.

Why can't I go in the South Stand in a Bulls shirt?

The next time I see Leeds on the wrong end of a close scoreline at Headingley I expect to see away supporters dancing in the front of the South Stand.

I had a Wire fan next to me in full attire in the Southstand when we played Wigan. Was more than welcome!

But, if you buy your ticket from Bradford which will be a ticket for the West Terrace, they do not allow transfer into the Southstand.

If you bought a Southstand ticket though, you can get in to any standing area.

Make sure the video gets to the police and get them banned.

Sometimes if it kicks off it can't be helped to jump in, no matter how calm you usually are.

From where I'm sitting, it looks like you were the cause of the whole thing.

A fan of the opposing team, stood with his family group consisting of both Bulls and Leeds fans takes the mickey, and you took exception to his celebrations. You gobbed off at a woman in that group, who rightly told you to do one, causing the Leeds fan in her company to react, and provided the opportunity for a Bradford fan to throw the first punch.

You also stated that it was your father who was also involved in the latter attack on the leeds fan, and was himself thrown down the stairs by the stewards. You then have the brass neck to criticise the Bulls fan who was a group member of the attacked Leeds fan, for describing your lot and the rest of participants in the violence as scum!

I'm sure you'll do the right thing, and both you and your Dad will be taking a trip down to your nearest Police station to give a statement.
