It's not a great performance. And that's being very kind. Headless chickens spring to mind.
First try was shocking defence.
And the other three to be fair.
We look pretty clueless in attack as well.
Apart from that, it's good.

It's hard to believe these players are full time with all week to train and hone plans, practice combinations, tackling and basic ball handling - what are they actually doing all week, apart from hanging out in Costa?

A part time team look better drilled, fitter and stronger!

The problem is they practice against themselves. On a match day they come up against teams that are bigger and stronger. The old saying was 'A good big'un will beat a good little'un", so what will happen when a good big'un meets a mediocre tiny'un.

Listening on BCB and Mick/Hobbo keep mentioning Toovey as coach. Has there been actual progress made on his visa (other than bank account and vat registration)?

Does that stop them practicing combinations, catching, set plays, tackling technique and working on speed and fitness - sounds like you're making excuses for them.

I think you'll find frank that it might be difficult to set up any combinations when we have a revolving door of players and a new half back partnership every week. No excuses for performances like this but what do you expect from a team who you don't know whether they'll be here week to week and they're the youngest team ever every week as more and more academy lads have to step up

Yeah I was venting a littler, I do have a lot of sympathy for the kids, it's genuinely sad watching their careers get ruined by having to front up every week taking bigger and fitter men on.

Don't think I'll be watching again until I see some commitment from the ownership to helping them out.

May support isn't going to be taken for granted anymore

Of course not. But if you get used to tackling 13 stone players and are then charged at by 19 stone players even you must realise it makes a difference. The young lads are doing their best, some of the older ones are trying to do too much and the rest just aren't good enough. At the moment I am just hoping Toulouse can overhaul Swinton.

They may be getting put in too soon and having it tough but having their careers ruined --- really!
Yes, you were venting but that is what happens on social media.

Well that was utterly depressing! Out enthused, out run, out fought and out thought. Didn't see anything from either of the Widnes boys. The amount of times we were out of position defensively in the middle to let a man go in untouched.

More injuries to Oakes, Margrin Mendeika and Moore. Don't think any apart from Margrin are short term.

Attacking wise we went back to old habits of passing down the line with zero dummy runners. Poor all round.

Not good at all. Christ knows what the aggregate score for last 3 games is

Well we've hit rock bottom. Ball firmly in the owners court. Are they serious about taking the club forward or are they just fulflling fixtures to spare Nigel's blushes?

So 8 points off survival once again with two hammerings likely in next two matches. Not looking great is it? Least we're ahead of target though according to our chairman!!
