| The passing from the teams at half time was better than ours. Don't think I remember a team who pass as bad as ours (that's when we do pass) Just awful!

| Pretty dismal afternoon. Came up against a very good Saints side but we don't do ourselves any favours. You can't expect to compete with the better sides when we gift so many opportunities to attack our line. Badly missed Gale and BK in attack, I don't think we even came close to scoring other than the solo effort from O'Brien. The injuries aren't helping us either but we are where we are I guess.
The appeal will make or break our season now for me, the sooner it is heard the better. Least we will realistically know where we stand and plan accordingly for the future.

| Dire performance. Another game lost is another game closer to the Championship, players should take note with 2 teams less in SL you may not get to play in a SL team again so i could well be Championship rugby for you as well.

| I know it didn't effect the result but how bad are
cummins use of interchange? In 60 minutes, used one interchange apart from O'brien for Diskin. He then brought George on for Kaufusi on 60mins. He then brought Mellor (who played well last week) on for for last 3 mins.

| We lacked leadership and direction without any of BK, Gale or Diskin on the pitch.
I'm assuming Diskin picked up a knock as he never came back on the pitch after his first stint.
Gaskell is far more effective playing at FB, so hopefully Gale is ok for next week.
A disappointing performance, but realistically not a game we were ever going to win anyway.
We need some bodies back desperately. It's going to be hard enough as it is to pick up wins from here onwards, but without Gale, BK, Nas, Fakir, Ferguson and Donaldson it's pretty much impossible.

| To be fair there was little point in risking Diskin once it became clear that the result was only heading in one direction. It'll be another Giants walkover next week though without some bodies back in the pack though. Obviously we will be without Kaufusi who has shown up well for us.

| The problem is that we don't seem to try against the top teams. What they don't seem to realise is that as well as the two points on offer it is just as important to put up a good display to get crowds paying at the gate.

| I get the fact the game was lost and we needed to 'save' some players for next week eg Diskin...
.... But that does not forgive the appalling lack of commitment, the non existent defence, the stupid mistakes, the non sensical options we took, the lack of the basic ability to run onto a ball hard and fast, the ability to even make a basic pass, the fact we let teams boss us around, the fact we get dominated in every tackle, the fact we have no leader on the paddock, the fact we have no genuine hard men, the fact we have no structure....
Could go on but I am only winding myself up further!'
Life is never dull as a Bulls fan is it!

| It'll be interesting to see whether any further recruits come in this week. Only Fakir has been brought in on a permanent deal so far. Are there still no players available? Are we struggling to convince players to join us? Or perhaps the club is also quietly awaiting the outcome of the appeal before committing to further signings?

| The score looks exceedingly bad, but is not a fair reflection of the game. A fair scoreline might have been around 10 - 36. had O'brien managed to score when he was somehow pulled back in the act of scoring, I don't think I'd be far out.
Gale is our class at half back and put simply, without Gale we had no direction and no organisation. Addy had a pretty mediocre game all round, maybe it was too much pressure on him, but anyone who couldn't see how we missed Gale must be blind.
In the first half we were right in the game for the majority of the half, and conceding the last minute try was what killed the game off. That was on the back of yet another schoolboy howler. I do know that I go on and on about schoolboy howlers, although I'm not at all sure what you can do to stop the players coming up with them season on season, but the biggest factor in the size of the scoreline was schoolboy howlers. We just can't help ourselves, and we thus give up good field poistion with monotonous regularity, and award the opposition maybe 6 or 7 sets of six which we have to defend, and especially against a decent team, this is just too much of a handicap. Amongst today's many gems:
* failing to find touch with a penalty;
* kicking the kick-off out on the full;
* no acting half back to pick up a play-the-ball;
* coughing up the ball on the first tackle (more than once);
* dropping the ball in cold blood under no pressure from a Saints drop-out
Sadly I could go on.

| For too long we have had second rate coaches. Don't get me wrong both Potter and Cummins are admirable people. They have kept going when others would have given up and nobody could have blamed them. But they are not class acts when it comes to coaching.
