Hopefully in the middle of some very fruitful talks with the RFL.

With the right buyer onboard we can survive in the Championship next year,
replace the high earners that have jumped ship with battle hardened quality championship campaigners and we are in with a chance.
I personally think that a deal is already part way to been done with the RFL hence the crazy timescale involved,
I would have thought they wanted Green as far away from the club as possible without a bean,

I would be surprised if the RFL were that much prepared.
I think its another face-saving shambles which will result in a lot of lost money, probable relegation and possible administration again.
Edit: A spelling

Nothing happens suddenly. But I'd say it is plainly obvious that the less clear and attractive pathways there are for kids to enter the professional game, the less of them will exist. They won't "suddenly not exist" like you say, they WILL be away doing other things so may as well not exist so far as RL is concerned.
And I'd say I'm just stating what I assumed was the bleedin obvious. Kill the opportunities, and over time, the numbers of players that "exist" will shrink until the decline is terminal.
Oh and btw you can't tell Bulls fans anything whatsoever about pro academies producing the players, half of some of the best players around are products of the Bulls academies.

| So, having initially said that the deadline was Friday, with a decision by early next week, we are now told that the RFL have shifted the deadline to next Monday - and a decision possibly later that week, but maybe into the following week.
You couldn't make this up!
We might not find out who the new owners are until week commencing January 16th - and recent history suggests that will most likely slip even further. That means the pre-season friendlies are cancelled and we won't even know if we are to have a club until TWO WEEKS before the start of the season.
I'd been working on the assumption that the RFL had a Plan B all along, ready to roll out once they'd got rid of Green and Pettit. It would appear not - but then perhaps I shouldn't have expected better from the RFL

Well, yeah. I just keep thinking the RFL might learn from their errors.
Clearly a false hope.

You could say the same for the Bulls.

| I also suspect the RFL were meeting with Pettit in one office and having another meeting with potential buyers in another office - just in case.
Their plans and wording suggest they suspected this outcome was on the cards.
Dave Woods is right about them having full control over this sale. They mustn't mess this one up.
My gut feeling tells me something is afoot.
It is going to be a long road back though and fans will need to stick with them. Most fans will understand that is was Green who stabbed them in the back with abysmal management. It wasn't the club as such - if you get what I mean.
We can survive in the championship with good coaching, a new manager who knows where to get players and help from clubs regarding loan players. The bottom few clubs in the championship are pretty poor. We need to finish above a couple of them. But that is all pointless till we actually have a club again.

| If the RFL issued the tender documents today, then I think it's only fair to give the bidders til Monday. There's no difference in receiving completed bids Friday to Monday only that it gives the bidders the weekend to finish it off should they need it.
Also you'd expect the document to be asking mainly qualitative questions which will be very hard to award from... we all know some of the bidders can talk a good talk! I hope the RFL seek external advice on this award as it is a massive decision.

| Jasbir Atwal and Robbie Hunter Paul have been at Odsal this dinner time. He got out if the Green regime just before Robbie Hunter Paul did.

| Welfare fund setup by BullBuilder, possibly to tide things over with staff that are willing to stick with the club?

Whilst I agree with the sentiment, I'm struggling to see where the battle hardened players will come from 4 weeks away from the first game.

Well, yeah...
Except 'the Bulls' are actually a series of different - albeit equally incompetent - people.
The RFL have had the same person at the helm for the entire time.

You've answered your own question , " over time " , some might not bother with RL again , I'd say they are the ones least likely to succeed , some will go to other clubs , some if still ambitious will go back to the amateur game and look to Championship clubs
Yes I know full well how many top profile ex Bradford academy players there are out there , but none at the Bulls , the majority of those would have found their way to the pro game one way or another
ATM any new Bradford club isn't going to ' save ' RL by having an academy , it needs to save itself , if you aren't bothered then no worries , but the fact you're on here now tells me you are , I notice your bull builder has found a new short term purpose , excellent I'll see if I can contribute even just a bit , I hope others do as well
Off now , some grouting to do
All the best
