| Speaking of sugar daddies, Davy has just told the Shudds fans they can have season tickets next year if they sign up before 12/9...for £99 or £50.
THAT is what a sugar daddy can do for you.
This game is now all about whose owner has the deepest pockets. Must admit, I am rapidly falling out of love with it. Its no wonder so many other fans, especially those of non-SL clubs, already have.

| BTW, I think it's worth pointing out that sugar daddy or not, a club still needs time to build in order to get it's playing staff and coaching staff at a level where success is in sight (though of course not in any way guaranteed). Simon Moran has been the majority shareholder at Warrington since 2003. His investment didn't immediately see a turnaround in success levels. Far from it.

Didn't they say on Sky during the Hudds game last night that the £50 ones were only for the first 2k and only for one stand, the one behind the sticks opposite the stand that's normally for the away fans. Or to put it another way, the stand that normally doesn't get much use as the main bulk of Hudds fans tend to sit down the sides

Come on Adey, you know as well as I do that that's what Rugby League has always been like. It's an unfortunate, and I agree, unpalatable, truth. I'd like to think that a club can afford to exist and compete on it's own merits, with it's turnover from TV revenue, sponsorship, gate receipts and merchandise being enough to see a club operate to the best of it's ability. But I'm afraid that we're in no position to demand more money from Sky, increasing advertising revenue is difficult for RL at the best of times never mind right now, and the only way for clubs to realistically increase their income at the turnstiles and club shops is to charge us all more money, which runs the risk of turning a lot of us going at all.
It's difficult to run a RL club, always has been, unfortunately always will be unless we, as fans (all of us), accept that maybe we *do* need to pay football style prices for things.

| Roofaldo: Yes, its not like our pledge - its to try and get more fans and cash in quicker though. Mind you, his last stab at something like this was not especially successful in the long run.

Dustbin SERIOUSLY needs to lose some weight
It's coming to something, when he was literally WADDLING onto the field, before the game even started.
If he's fallen to earth with a bump today, I'm expecting a tsunami affecting North Wales, Merseyside and Lancashire.
Come on Bulls, a competative SL needs you lot to be punching your weight. Today (unfortunately for you lot), you lot had all the punch of an effeminate vicar. BUCK UP.
I've no axe to grind with you fellas. You embraced the SL concept with open arms, and showed the rest of us how it should be done. But in the last handful of years, you've turned into Salford. Capable of beating anyone on your day, but your days are getting few and far between....and you're filling your side with everyone else's cast offs...I mean, Sibbitt...he was sh01t3 with us 6 years ago (when we were sh01te).
We need you, Bradford.
We know it's in there somewhere. Just find it.
Good luck for the rest of the season.

| here you have 2 games which sum up all that is wrong with the current Bulls setup.
Game 1: Play like a set of demons for 80 minutes, murder Huddersfield as if our lives depended on it
Game 2: After 2 weeks rest and practice, trot out at Wire and play pretty much from 1-17 as if nobody could be arrsed in the slightest.
Then all chorus how unacceptable they know it was, and how they'll work sooooo hard next week to put it right.
This is what i have been going on about the players for svereal seasons now, I blame them. I believe Potter is a good coach, but he seems powerless to do anything on the days we decide we ain't playing, and from a paying speccies POV, it is demoralising and annoying in equal measure to give up a Sunday and pay a boatload of cash to go watch a team that we cheered to the rafters a fortnight ago trot out and stick the proverbial two fingers up at the fans.
Sure we have no sugardaddy, but we have a team that can play and can work their backsides off, so we are entitled to ask why some weeks they regularly and clearly deliberately don't bother.

This is what really pi$$es me off. Last game against Hudds the forwards battered the theirs. This week they ran in with no conviction or aggression and with the exception of Raynor and a couple of others the whole team looked as they couldn't give a toss.

Game 1
Couldn't agree more. I just hope Potter now gives the likes of Ainscough/Walker a chance to earn themselves a new deal against Hull KR if they're passed fit. Royston must be wondering what he has to do to get in the team as well.

| Time to give those without a place in the squad a chance - Briggs, Royston, Ainy and Walker, let them show us what hey can do. Especially if Herbert and Ah Van can't be botheed now they know they are leaving. Ainy in for Ah Van and Briggs for Herbert. Royston with Walker on the bench.

Trouble is Briggs, Walker and Ainscough are both on the injured list.

broke his wrist in second or third game for them.
I thought all 3 were nearly back though, Walker, Ainy and Briggs?
