No, but it looked like a rib from where I was sitting

Yeah, another win - and a somewhat routine win in the event. Let's not forget that some were saying this was a potential banana skin ready to slip on. Never looked like it would be.

Good, solid performances all around the park today. Clough is immense and would have been my MoM, although I didn't really quibble with the choice of Pitts. Also good to see Fleming looking more the part today than he has done thus far - some very strong drives and a decent spell either side of half time.

And let's not forget we had the disruption of losing a half back and a centre within the first quarter, and replacing both with second row forwards! Despite that disruption, we looked more organised than they did!

That referee was just abysmal again. That weather was abysmal again. I don't feel I could read much more into the game other than we were clearly superior in the forwards and took our chances well. I presume that we could see much bigger crowds if the weather ever improves on a match day as 4000 hardy souls was good on such a day. I don't suppose we'll ever get everyone fit at once but there could be some big selection headaches ahead, particularly if Siejka is out for a while. Roll on Summer rugby.

I saw that 4000+ ? but then again my eyesight not what is was! Fergy is a really quality player. Thinking about his performances regarding his style, don't you think he has the ability to use a fancy step or two. I mean introducing more set moves for him to come on too? He would make a good hooker ... Or am I really going blind icon_eek.gif

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?:

Quote: Bullseye "Tbf to Henry two passes he got from Addy weren't the best and in those conditions they were hard to take.

He did look good when he caught it and I thought Ulugia and Uaisele took their tries very well.'"

Please tell me this is a different Ulugia to the one we sacked???

I was pretty impressed with our performance given it was the game that can sometimes be a flat performance after a busy Easter schedule. Painfully slow PTB, absolutely no policing of the onside/offside and the conditions meant it was never going to be free flowing rugby. As Lowes stated in his after match interview, next weeks game will no doubt be refereed under different application of the rules. What happens in the middle 8 is anyone's guess but it will be a shock for the SL clubs if it's played at Championship pace.

Clough, Sidlow and Pitts were all outstanding for us. Not convinced by Henry at centre, hope one of Baille/Purtell fit for the cup match. Club must be cursing the weather again but I'd say 4k in this conditions is pretty decent to be honest.
