Ah, sorry, thought you were suggesting our local rag was somewhat tardy in its reports....the answer is no, we don't know the substance of anything, merely that it seems to be taking a longer time to come to a conclusion than would appear to be reasonable. At least, if you believe it to be reasonable to give the 'new' club any chance of putting together something approaching a competitive team for next season. Not forgetting also, that if the worst comes to the worst and we're in the NL, that there are a number of players who are going to find it very difficult to get a gig for next year. It might be helpful it the authorities realised that their apparent wish to not appear too keen to rush to a decision has consequences. |
