Postponment is bad news for teams at this time of year, as the busy Easter schedule draws near. I suppose we do have the advantage of having a decent amount of depth in the team compared to other teams in the division. Still puts unwelcome pressure on the fixture list at a peak time.

I'm really surprised they didn't ask for volunteers to clear the snow off the pitch. I suspect the pitch itself is playable - currently around +3 here in Leeds and snow is melting off rooftops and car roofs outside our house.

Tweeting pictures of snowbound pitch all morning seems like they'd already made their mind up that the game was going to be off - which is odd because that's their big payday gone (given that it will likely have to be midweek for the re-arranged game)

Im surprised too. Been to roundhay park and the ground is very soft. Should be no issue of a frozen pitch. Looking like a mid-week fixture

From reading on Twitter, may not be true but says most clubs are trying to arrange the postponed games for evening this week. Hope that's true for Bulls.

If that's the case we'd need to be quick, as they restart scheduling league games quite quickly in our division since most Champ 1 teams don't last too long when the SL teams appear. If we have some luck with our cup games we may even be in the position of having to cancel more league fixtures to play cup matches.

Fax/Oldham and Crusaders/Fev are both on Tuesday evening. No word from Coventry or Hunslet as far as I've seen yet.

League Express reporting that Hunslet & Bulls hoping to play the game by Wednesday but no official word yet.

I'd think as early as possible so as not to impact too much on next weekends game. The weather is going to get warmer pretty quickly, which is a good sign.

3 games in 10/11 days then. Think we'll have to use plenty of our squad for this period. Personally, i'd give plenty of the fringe players a go for the cup game. Leave Chissy out, then start him for the league game.
