| Quote: AdeleMC "I couldnt understand why they missed the sides off? Lol .. Great atmosphere from our fans despite what we were watching, but the rain /wind was everywhere. You would think spending so much money on the stadium, a bit of plastic on the sides would have been money well spent. Needed wellies on queuing for food tonight!. Potential to be a very nice stadium though.'"
You ask the same question most Saints fans are asking! It is a complete mystery to all of us why the sides were not clad. There was some discussion about doing it following the first swim around the concourse but nothing happened. A shame really as the lack of protection really spoils the experience.
I thought your fans were great. It was an horrendous night to travel the M62, your team were clearly still in Bradford and yet I didn't see any of you leave early and you kept on singing. You all did a great job.

Maybe they'll do it in the off season??
I think after these last few months there's far worse could happen to us than getting a bit of a thrashing.. On the whole we've had a fairly good season. At the moment there's nothing we can do but support the club & enjoy the rugby ( or lack of it from tonight )

| I think some of you on here need your eyes testing. Except 2 or 3 kicks Gale split the Fullback and Winger everytime, it was Addy from hooker who kicked it directly at Wellens/Makinson.
I think Gale needs to sort his kick off out though, absolute e. I'm starting to miss Ah Van's kickoffs.
Whitehead is not a centre, he can fill in against 'lower' teams but as you can see with most of his decision making he is not a centre, keep him in the back row.
Im getting sick of us kicking high all the time on the 5th, why not try a chipkick or a grubber into the in goal area, don't rely on Pryce or Whitehead scoring from kicks.
Also what happened to tackling low?

'"
Memories going then But I still think that Gale's kicking was awful. Missing from touch was poor when if we wanted to avoid humiliation we really needed to be fighting for every inch. Agree about kick offs aswell. Think I'm right in saying Bateman took a few whilst Gale was out, and they were alot more dangerous.
Bring back Sykes

Pollsters doing Excellent job - say recent polls.: |
|
| This game was almost a carbon copy of the Hudds game. BK & Kear are our only good FB's. If we lose both of them we are screwed.
The kicking game was generally poor.
Some players did not seem to have their heads in the game - ?due to quick turnaround, ? due to injuries catching up, ?due to off-field issues catching up, ?their heads were already in Ibiza (team already given week off this week).

| Gave the game a miss. The vibes coming from the coach and players before the game were just too negative.

I'm glad someone else saw that! I thought Gale had a great long kicking game.

| Well yeah, in all fairness though I wanted to watch his kicking game to see if he had learnt from the last game and I thought it was good.

| Well the first visit to the bespoke Langtree Park, won't be living long in the memory as an grand occasion.
Certainly not even on the scale, when put against the Bulls first games at the DW Stadium (Wigan 12-12 Bradford) or the KC Stadium (Hull FC 20-26 Bradford) for that matter.
Interestingly up until the 21st minute (score 4-0 St Helens) this one was competitive. Although Bradford's fragile confidence - clinically deteriorated as St Helens applied the vigour and sustained purpose, meaning in the end, this match was effectively nothing more than an training exercise for the home side.

| Just watched last nights Sky game. After listening to both coaches its quite clear that our lads won't be checking-in for their holiday flights alongside any Leeds or Wire players. Interesting.

Tbh I may have been harsh regarding my worry. He started a lot of the good stuff in the Cas game and his inside pass was great for kearneys first try. That said I don't recall him making a break. Maybe Sammut as a partner would give him more space

I thought his kicking game against Cas was pretty good, regularly turned them around, last night hid long range kicking was pretty good too. It's his defence that needs some work IMO
