Do you honestly think that Noble was in charge of the Finances at Wigan and Bradford? The fault that the cap was broken lies with the owners who authorised the salaries which put them over the cap.
I don't blame Noble, in any shape or form, for our cap infringements.'"
Whether he was in charge of finances or not does not take away the fact that his sides were stronger than they should have been, due to a clear breach of the cap.
However, to suggest that he was entirely ignorant to such goings on would appear somewhat naive to me.

Whether it was by a "small amount" or the fault of NZRL is irrelevant.
I will say again that if, say, Leeds did it then they would be roundly (and rightly) pilloried on here. I hate seeing cheating prosper and won't turn a blind eye just because it is my club.'"
So, going by your response to my post, we DID break the cap, but you're not SAYING we broke the cap?

We don't need to try. The only relevant thing I am interested in is what I think, and I do not think we won any trophy "by cheating" nor do I think the trophies we have are tarnished in any way. Not a bit. we won them fair and square. Far from any head burying, I know exactly what the breaches were, and do not deny them. YOU think they are tarnished, and you're welcome to wallow in that view, but you're wasting your time trying to inflict your Jonah-like mindset on me. we were very good value for alwe got and throughly deserved it was.

Irrelevant? So, keeping a penny I find on Richard Branson's carpet is the same as doing the same with an old lady's life savings that I find under her carpet? Riiiiighty-ho then.

from memory it wasn't using the image rights loophole itself that we got done for. The company providing the image rights sponsorship had to be totally unconnected with the club, and during the season they placed an advert in the matchday programme, which the RFL deemed broke that rule.

| Yes we broke the salary cap rules, but a bit like the Tour de France before honest upright Brit's started to win it - everyone was at it.

| Brian did not write the cheques out.
He was the coach.
Bulls won so much through the awesome forwards.
He kept Wigan up.
Creditable table finish with Crusaders.
Salford will gel.
The Dr sounds like another in the mould of Abranovich.
Instant result.
Pro sport just aint like that.
Even Man City and Chelsea took a year or two with new riches to win something.
Brian Noble I have known since he was 8.
He deserves no tarnishing of his name by Bradford Bulls fans.
No other period in the clubs rich history is bettered.
Keep sticking up for him FA.
Eddie stop been an idiot.
They all did it some cleverer than others.
And just as breaking the salary cap can be seen as unfair advantage same with not paying bills but paying players up to cap
These rules are made for breaking.
I used to love a king size Mars Bar.
The Government decided kids were unfit so banned them.
Mars produced the King Size in 2 halves.
In one packet.
Kids are still fat

| This is one for all you chocolate lovers but not a Mars Bar in sight..
Fifty Shades of Chocolate
Mr Cadbury met Miss Rowntree on a Double Decker
It was just After Eight.
They got off at Quality Street .
He asked her name ?
Polo, I'm the one with the hole she said with a Whisper.
I'm Marathon , the one with the nuts, he replied.
He touched her Cream Eggs which was a Kinder Surprise for her,
Then he slipped his hand into her Snickers which made her Ripple.
He fondled her Jelly Babies and she rubbed his Tic Tacs.
Soon they were Heart Throbs.
It was a Fab moment as she screamed in Turkish Delight.
But three days later his Sherbet Dib Dab started to itch ......
turns out Miss Rowntree had been with Bertie Bassett who had Allsorts
I'll get my coat

That would explain why Dr K offered him a new job as his driver!

| I think suggesting that Noble's Bradford weren't entertaining is one of the funniest things I've read all year....and I'm a Leeds fan!! I hated them with a passion, but they definitely weren't boring!
