Looks like Mick is aligning with your previous posts on twitter...You crystal ball is clearly better than his Netto version

| Chalmers followed Toovey up the steps before the game his gaze firmly downwards. Looked like a man with a heavy weight on his shoulders...

| The only way we're staying up is for red's conspiracy theory to be true.

Well what we need is 10 points MORE than Swinton get (since our points difference is getting worse all the time and is already worse than Swinton)
.. which means if Swinton win 3 more games, we need to win 8 games; if they win 5, then we need to win 10, and so and so forth...
All academic as we the way are playing now we won't win another match all season

Bulls could stop up but probably requires you to beat Dews (A), Rochdale (A), Oldham (H), Batley (A), Swinton (H) and then winning 5 out of you 7 super 8s games to leave the Bulls on 18pts, 16 league points might be enough because of you your better points difference.
A tall order I know.

| I can't see Labour picking up many votes from this eitherhttps://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/15301426.Labour__39_s_sports_spokesman_Tom_Watson_speaks_about_Bulls__39__near_collapse_on_visit_to_Odsal/?ref
I wonder if this headline is about about our previous near collapses or our forthcoming one?

| Quote: Frank Whitcombe "I can't see the team that was on the park yesterday winning another game all year, and it's absolutely down to the physicality of the opposition compared to our youngsters - lets not forget even the loanees are still kids. London ran through us yesterday, almost at will.
I've said it before and I stand by it, they are risking their careers playing week in week out given the potential of being badly hurt against grown men, and they'd be mad to not be looking elsewhere in the absence of any comms from our placeholder owners.
I say placeholder, as I'm now convinced that's exactly what they are, one of them used his programme notes yesterday to tell us all about his lunch in Auckland, seriously WTF!'"
There could be a issue for the RFL and the club in respect to the responsibilities around duty of care to the younger players. As has been discussed, there is the possibility that some of the young players confidence, future health and potential could be seriously affected by the the RFL and clubs mindless aspirations.

Agreed I'm not sure there's much political capital to be made out of our temporary stay of execution.

| Some one in high authority needs to be speaking to the clubs supporters asap, let them know what's happing , because if you don't have supporters then unless I'm stupid then you won't have a club, we are the people who work very hard to come and blow some steam off at these games, and yet all your doing is sitting quiet and taking are hard earned, this is not good value for the monies we are paying, so it's simple, SORT IT OR LOSE IT

On our form up to a month ago, it would not have been that tall an order at all though.
But at the same time, after what in a short space of time our owners have done (or should I say not done) we are now easy meat even for the worst clubs. So speculation like the above is out of date and irrelevant as our owners have driven us into the ground and no longer can compete with even the next weakest club.

There's so many rumours going around from various sources it's difficult to believe anything. This is why I asked the RFL directly on Thursday after Leigh Beattie admitted in the press conference "he didn't know what was happening with the bottom two clubs."
Here's the full reply from the RFL:
Hi Mick,
In reply to your email below, Operational Rule A1:11 (j) states: At the end of the Championship Shield league the bottom 2 Clubs shall be automatically relegated to League 1 for the following Season. For the avoidance of doubt the Clubs finishing in 1st to 6th shall start the following Season in the Championship
This rule still applies.

| So unless the other 41 member clubs vote for drastic change at the restructure and shaping the future meeting next month, the bottom two sides of the Championship (regardless of who) will be relegated.
There's 16 games left to play - 32 points. The average points over the last two seasons to see the third place side survive is 17.5points. So 18 points to survive - 10 wins/20 points.
Six game safety net.
I can't honestly call it.
