adey, we are all a bit touchy. not a sarcy comment, I am too! I saw our comment out of context as having a go at Raz. sorry. He's an employee not a board member. He gives his all 11% for the club and stands to lose his job because the people above him are inept. He's been hung out to dry by hood by having to front up on TV.

My understanding too, pretty well. I also understood that all of these approaches (they were the ones that were being described as "predatory", I believe) were supposedly by parties whose real interest was in acquiring the Odsal site for development. And that they had no real interest in the Bulls, beyond shuttling us off to VP so the site was freed up, and that the Bulls would be given a very small player budget (well below the salary cap) and left to wither.
For what that may or may not be worth.
If that is the case, then the assignment of the long lease to the RFL totally stymied that option, as was clearly part of the intent. |
