| Carvell hasn't featured at all yet, still working his way back fitness-wise apparently, and I doubt he'll be playing on Sunday. Maitua still in Oz and rumours from over there suggest he has had his visa denied, which wouldn't be especially surprising.

| Suspect he could manage a ten minute 'cameo', either side of half-tiime.
Far from sure that Luaki is fully match fit, but he was in the initial squad last Sunday so I guess may turn out at Fev.

| Judging by what is said in the T&A, if Lauaki and Fleming may be available, I would expect one of them to take Mellor's spot on the bench. More likely Lauaki as he was in last week's 19 so presumably wasn't far off.
With the suspensions, most likely scenario I would think is for Shaw to play fullback with Mullaney at 7, then Ulugia or Henry to take Williams' wing spot, perhaps with the other taking Shaw's place on the bench. Outside chance that Brook or one of the backup hookers may get that bench spot instead, but I'd think more likely a threequarter.
I'd expect the 17 to be something along the lines of:
Shaw
Uaisele
Baile
Purtell
Ulugia/Henry
Gaskell
Mullaney
Clough
O'Brien
Sidlow
Olbison
Pitts
Walker
SUBS
Walshaw
Tahraoui
Henry/Ulugia
Fleming/Lauaki

| Fev have just announced that BOTH new stands will indeed be open on Sunday including the larger 70m one at the Railway end, I'd think this will go some way to alleviating any concerns about overcrowding inside the stadium though it will still make sense to come early I'd imagine.

What's the bar situation like at Fev these days?
Can you still only get a drink in the lounge thingy, or are there places around the ground you can grab a pint?

Plenty of places round the ground to get a pint these days

| Still can't make up my mind if I'm going to go. Might need to see how my bank balance is on Saturday before making a call.
Another tough away trip this. Fev have enough quality to cause us problems, especially with our team still gelling together.
Would hope that Lauaki is fit enough, even if it is just for a 20 minute spell.
Also really hope that Shaw doesn't play full back. I'm fed up of people being played out of position. Keep Mullaney at FB and give Brook a run!!!

| When the new stands went up last season I understand Etu Uaisele did a bit of labouring to earn his keep.

| Looking forward to this. Never been to Fev. Going to do more away's than homes this season.

| Good that the stands are open. I hope they’re covered as the weather could be interesting. Met Office confidence is low but potential for rain and strong winds. Possibly another day for the thermals. With that in mind we’ll need a big strong pack and no passengers so I hope Lauaki and Fleming really are fit.
While I like the idea of playing Brook I think the Hunslet game would make for an easier debut. Having said that I’m not convinced about Shaw under the high kick if we move Mullaney to halfback. He dropped two at Leeds and last week he and Uaisele stood and watched one bounce under their noses. If I were Andy Hay I’d be sure to get some high balls to him.
I quite like going to Fev. It’s a good ground for getting close to the action.

Good stuff, thanks for that (the reply, not the bars which probably weren't much to do with you....)

| It's a cracking little ground these days. I've never heard of people taking whole stands from other clubs and re-erecting them before, but they look really smart.

| If your interested the link below is to the Fev forum on the totalrl web site. This thread has a few pictures on it from the life cycle of the project, which started in late 2011 till now (and on-going) so 3.5 years to take down, move and erect the stands, with Sunday's game being the 1st time they will be used at Fev. What has been achieved I would imagine is unique in sporting history.

I wish all the Bulls fans that make the trip over a safe journey for what should be an entertaining affair.
I can't wait for the actual game now!
