| Quote: BullCharge "What about Brett Kearney for the stand-off role? As he is getting older he is losing speed and misses far too many tackles at full back. He played at stand-off a lot when he was at Cronulla and I think he would play well there. And let's not forget, we originally signed him to play at 6.'"
I would put Kearney back at 6, he drops too many balls and misses too many tackles for FB IMHO Unfortunately Cummins would put Foster at full back rather than Kear. I don't know whether it's me, but i would rather my FB can catch a high ball and tackle rather than this "chime into the line" coaches seem obsessed with.
Kear would make every good FB IMO and i would like Kearney at 6

Likewise gale seems to be at his best when partnered with addy. For some reason sammut and gale just don't seem to click together.

That's crazy, does he think he will come over and give 2 stuffs, he will be here for a year get paid loads nd go home could see that biting salford in the backside they may buy a lot of players but they will be mercenaries there for a quick buck.
Why would SBW play for them I dare say he has never heard of salford before, he won't do a job for them they will have to be extremely careful, I could see them fighting relegation next year, if they sign journey men who arnt there for the pride in the shirt.

That a wish list or based on something more concrete? I guess there is the rumours of Gaskell to come into the squad in 2014. Competition for places or a straight replacement for Jarrod.
I still think BK is better at FB, he can slot into stand off without problem but I still think he is more dangerous from FB.

| There's as much chance of SBW signing for Salford as there is of Eric Pickles replacing Sammutt.
Mind you, maybe as an impact prop ...

| Apparently SBW is a massive Smiths fan.

Not what i meant just meant to say, hope they don't sign a lot of players who are there to make a quick buck, what happens when those star players leave after their 1 season at the Reds, i just hope they have plans in place for future development as i wouldn't like to see them paying for it in future years.

What, is he going to make half the team redundant, declare he'd hate to live in Yorkshire again and then bugger off to Essex?

| Stevo said last week that Luke Dorn has signed for a west yorkshire club. Not many of them need a half back or full back I would suspect.

| I spoke to Sammut on Sunday the poor guy was very nervous during the game he loves the Bulls and does want to stay but if the Gaskell signing comes off it leaves him playing second choice with more chance to play at Salford
He was in last week (before Salford game) to find out where he stands in fc plans didn't look too happy after the meeting hope he stays he won us more games than he's lost us and an all round top guy.

| I would be surprised if a fully fit, fully committed Jarrod Sammut would play second fiddle to Lee Gaskell, even in Franny's eyes!
It makes me wonder if he's trying to justify a move elsewhere? I'm with you though, we need to keep him. Injuries this year have shown why we need another player to play 6 or 7, as Gale and Sammut struggle to stay fit for an entire season.
