| Quote: HamsterChops "Chapelhow has been wearing 39 for the last few games so has essentially been assigned that number. Similarly Chamberlain 40 and Aston wore 41 on Sunday (Bulls tweeted his shirt out). Fair to assume those numbers have been assigned to those players. 38 seems to have been missed out, although Chapelhow did wear that previously for a game or two. Storton & Brooks only ever wore someone else's shirt (like 25 while Tomlinson was on loan to Skolars).
There has definitely been 40 players used so far this season though. Everyone in the squad has played at least once, except for Josh Rickett. Numbers 1 to 37 have been used, minus 12 and 27, which is 35 players. Then Storton, Brooks, Chapelhow, Chamberlain & Aston on top of those.
(I should give credit to my source on these, my "man with the stats" haha, but I'm not gonna....)'"
It's all made more difficult with not having a 'proper' programme each week. Fair enough, the T&A pullout is OK in its way but, for some reason, they never ever put a number alongside the names and the website lags behind even that... though, on the basis of, 'if you can't say something good, don't say anything, I'll say no more about the website. I mean, I totally get that they have more things to do but it's like trying to get 'news' out of GCHQ, at times.

What the RFL have forced on us this year is unforgiveable. Absolutely, it's wasted and next year we'll be where we should have been this year. Waste waste waste.

Agreed, we are where we are and we do look to be starting to sign players.
If that is in L1 then fair enough. We will need to do a Toronto.
People will accept that if Chalmers is up front with us and shows intent.
I hope we are also ready to announce the signings of the young lads. Signing these new experienced players is good but it would then be annoying to lose half a dozen of the young lads that have shone this season.
Supporters will continue to support if they see good clear management and planning. We have lacked that over the last decade. If Chalmers gives us that then we will back the club - as we have done so before even with past owners that then let us down.

| Well my interest has plummeted rapidly this season for a whole host of reasons. Probably made it to just under half of our home games this year. I can't say the prospect of Coventry and Gloucester visiting Odsal next year fills me with any excitement to drag myself out of my garden.

| Ashley Gibson pretty much confirms Tonga signing. Sounds like he's training with the squad.
From T & A websiteThe injury is not uncommon among players and there are others in the Bulls' changing room happy to compare notes with 30-year-old Gibson during his absence.

From T & A website
T&A also posted Sunday's EIGHTEEN man squad yesterday. Leaving a spot free in the untrimmed aquad? Is there still nothing solid about Tonga signing or regarding the status of his visa? Holding off posting week 22 prediction until it's known whether Willie makes the 17.

| I don't get the idea of leaving a spot open. Don't you have to have the player registered by midday on the Friday to play in Sunday's game anyway? So if they didn't name him in the squad, he wasn't registered, so can't be added anyway. So that's the point?

Dunno what time on Friday the T&A posted the squad or when it was given to them. Bongser is merely asking for solid facts

Think players can be registered with rfl While there still waiting for work visas to arrive. We can still add in any other registered player to 19th spot so no negative side just keeps our options open.
Could also be another new player that we haven't announced yet. Didn't roger say there were a couple more on way last week.

I don't know, but that DOB says he's only 17, so it looks more of a signing for the U19s than the first team.

The Bulls themselves announced that 19 early on Friday afternoon (but after midday). Perhaps it's as has been said where the player is registered but waiting on a visa.
