| If it hasn't happened already then it will do in time.
Clandestine or not is the question?

| New signing?
The rumours regarding Koukash has continued despite some denials by Chalmers. However it seems he has tied up the loose ends at Salford for their takeover and our chairman has departed. Anyone know what the score is with Lowe, I assume he hasn't been seen since this time last year due to his health problems? Perhaps a ChaKash 50% split?

| Even in C1 you may get higher gates than Salford this year. He hasn't the best record regarding academies but he does have an awful lot of dosh. He also learned in M30, not to meddle in matters rugby and stick to the finance side of things. Let's see what transpires at 2pm tomorrow. Mind you, knowing The Bulls it could be an announcement that there will be further announcements.
Can't help thinking he and other SL chairmen from 2017 know something about which we mere mortals can only speculate. Perhaps a sacrificial lamb, not previously mentioned regarding restructure, will appear from left field?

| Nothing from the bulls regarding a press conference so I'm not sure what's going on there, but Moley tweeting about this has caught my attention. The guy has a good rep for being right more often than he's wrong, and he has that reputation to uphold. So unlike [isomeone[/i we know who retweets every rumour they hear, Moley is careful about what he says.
I'm in two minds whether I want this to actually be true or not.

| Mick mentioned a press conference tomorrow afternoon in his commentary this afternoon, though no clues as to the subject. I guess Koukash could be described as a "player" with SL experience that would please the fans.

| Am I the only one thinking after finally getting some stability around the club such as Ideal coach, tribunal seen off and sorted, stable academy, playing in the division that probably suits us at this time, its possible this could be all undone by the arrival of Marwan.I like one or two others on here am caught in two minds whether this really is good news.I would prefèr a slow build but carnt imagine that would be Marwans thinking.Perhaps I am being a little negative and possibly naive, after all Cash is King as they say.We shall see.

No you are not the only one mate, those are my sentiments entirely.
You are right, the good Doctor will want things to happen quickly.

We do academies well though... And as it is established & high quality, I would think he would see the value in it.
I think Graham Lowe's shareholding has been quietly available since his ill-health was announced last year. Koucash & Chalmers have worked together before. It's a possibility I think. We might find out later today.

| Where has this press conference quote come from? I've heard Kear saying we will probably be in a position to announce on player on Monday, that's about it

| Our ability to run academies and produce fantastic players combined with Marwan's ability to get clubs relocated from early 20th century dumps into 21st century stadia?
The final act in our rebirth would surely be the fond farewell to the the old girl who's too high maintenance.
Would love to see it happen... but I think we've used up our quota of good news for 2018

| Like others, i'm in two minds, but i'm more in favour for Koukash than against. My reasons are:
1. I personally think he's learnt from his antics when he first came to the sport. Sacking coaches at will, saying he'll win SL within 12 months, the tweeting, his war with the RFL etc. Yes he still does this every now and again, but is much more restrained (apart from the MPG antics) At the end of the day, we're now used to spelling errors in virtually all the clubs tweets, so i don't think Koukash tweeting war on the RFL will annoy us too much
2. Cash. Previous posters have mentioned stability, but how long will that last on current funding? This year we'll get central funding of £75k. If we have the perfect season, the maximum we'll get next year is £150k. We need someone to plug the gap. Yet again next season in SL, we'll see Bradford academy products, who we took time to develop and nurture, winning games for other clubs. Trueman, Bentley, Scott, Brown, Hooley. I could go on. The reason we lost all those players was off-field management. If we paid our bills, those players would still be with us and we'd have a nucleus of a HG team, and a damn talented one at that. If Koukash pays the bills, John Bastian will work his magic with the academy and we will actually for once, enjoy the fruits of our/his labour.
A Chalmers/Koukash double act could work wonders. Chalmers seems very passionate about our academy reserves.
