| Noble back would be intersesting to say the least, but I hope he'd stay in the background, maybe on youth development or something close to that. As i've said on other threads I'm a Potter fan and would love to see him sign on for a couple more years at least. IMO he is the man to bring the glory days back to Bradford.

| If we get through this mess, surely we will at least offer Potter a new deal? Right now we could do with some continuity in playing and coaching staff IMO.

| Think if Caisley comes in and brings Nobby then Potter will be reluctant to sign a new deal, even if Noble is in a role like McRae at Hull.
Rather stick with Potter if we can, he's building a talented young side thats good to watch.

| I suggested Noble taking up a DOR role to Ross Heppenstall (T&A journo) and he was quick to let me know that it wouldn't work. Not sure if that was just his opinion or whether he knows a bit more than us, but he didn't see it as a possibility either way.

Noble must still have ambitions as a SL coach so i could not see it working with Potter. Whereas even McRae must see his days are over as a coach & his current gig is the best opportunity he is likely to get.

| Noble coming back was mentioned around a month ago by poster here, in pretty much the exact words I had heard. Things could change, but I heard it was nailed on to happen, with Noble coaching next year.

| I guess if Noble comes back we can see that argument settled abut whether he can only successfully coach a team with a pile of money behind it.
Personally I think Potter's shown he deserves another deal. It's taken a year but he's steadied the ship after the McNamara shambles and we're looking like a side that's improving for the first time in 6 years.
Of course this is all academic if the new regime hasn't the backing to take us forward.

| Cant see any truth in this at all, I think even if we do get a new board they will be daft to get rid of Potter hes slowly building a strong youthful team.

| I would rather keep MP for another year if he wanted to stay, and Keep Sammut and Mans, RFL should give all the overseas players dispensation for the whole time they stay the club they signed to after the Crusaders collapse.

| Will noble jump ship if things aren't going his way like he did at crusaders, the man will drive a lot of the current players away. Watch this space!

For "New Board" I'd suggest read "Caisley", regardless of who has what title.
And I guess it could prove to be a case of weighing up looking after your mates versus the best objective decision?

| Isn't it great we're being presented with a clear strategy with investment, budgets and personnel in place for the dawn of a new era?
I also think we've turned a corner with Potter and with a bit more quality and consistency in terms of fitness in the halves I think there's every chance we'll make the eight this year and progress.
The word on Noble a few weeks ago and confirmed on The Super league Show was he was conducting a review of the football side of the club. I hardly think it would look good if his recommendation was for him to replace the coach. On the other hand I think Noble would be an excellent director of rugby/football manager.

| I'm not sure that paying a 'Director of rugby' or 'Football manager' is a priority, given the finances and the fact the football seems to be the best thing about the club at the moment. That said I don't necessarily think that Nobby and Potter couldn't work together either though, unless anyone has heard something definite to the contrary, just don't see the point.
