It's 110% going to be the Friday if ITV/ESPN decide to show Hull City's possible 4th round FA Cup tie on the Sunday.
That is the line I've been told.
If they get knocked out in the third round or draw less glamorous opponents in the fourth then it's Sunday.
Sunday would be great for me so I can go to both  |

Thats ok then. Way you said it sounded like there was a possibility hull game would be off entirely. Probably most important game of pre-season IMO in terms of quality of opposition and judging where we are at.

It's certainly going to be an interesting one with the added Lynch factor

Don't send us the pathetic shower you sent last year to Cougar Park.
It was not worth selling tickets for.
No wonder no bulls fans came and Cougars had to take all their props out to pretend Bulls had sent a competitive team.
Saints did a similar thing the previous year, promise a match and send their puppies.
I would rather loose in a competitive game than see a repeat of the last two years p*ss poor insult of a team that SL has sent along to Cougar Park.
Are your first team scared of loosing?
Is that why you send kids and accept the loss before they get on the coach?

Maybe you should quiz your directors as to why they have set up a match with the Bulls when they know full well they'll only play our Academy team? |

The last great battle against Keighley was the 1997 Joe Phillips Memorial clash at Odsal in the pre-season.
I know we ended up running away with it in the end, but for a good 60 minutes it was - Result in doubt and the game attracted a decent gate of over 7,000.

That's not quite true though is it?
Most of us just want a competitive, enjoyable game for both sides. A thrashing either way doesn't do anyone any good does it.

not a lot we can do about it though is there?. We have the Hull friendly the same weekend and we cant expect the 1st team to play twice. Hulls our last friendly and we need to have our strongest team out against them. No disrespect to your lot but the Hull game is going to give us a much better idea where we're at. |

Last time we put out a close to full strength side in a pre-season game against Keighley was in 2007 I believe? And didn't we put something like 80 points on them? As fun as that sort of scoreline is, what good does it do anyone? It certainly doesn't help us prepare for the rigours of an SL season and it can't help Keighley to get their backsides handed to them |
