Do the Rabbitohs have the same salary cap structure as Warrington?

Someone at the club told me he was happy as long as his mum was over here. Luke would only go down under if his mum went as well. Same story from HQ as well.

I would like to think our players play for the love of the game rather than PR stunts so i hope he will stay!

I'd like to think we could keep him till end of deal at least but if his heart was set on going it would be better for us if he went at end of this year. with a year left on his deal we should be able to get some sort of transfer fee like we did with sam and george to at least offset the loss( although admittedly it would probably be pretty nominal with just a year left on his deal). Think it comes down to toms personality and how keen he is to establish himself in his own right. If he went to NRL he'd very much be back in his brothers shadows.

Burgess break tackles and makes masses of yards everytime yet gets 10 mins a half and your happy with that? it said it all when he was taken off vs hull.. looking up at potter and shaking his head.

His performances don't warrant longer than 10 mins what with the 2 knock ons almost every game then the missed tackles and handling errors he brings to the side. Massively overrated just because of his sir name people rave about him! he was tragic against st helens and Wigan, yes he mixed it playing Salford but how many teams of salfords standard do we play week in week out.

Knighting someone at such a young age was always going to be counter-productive.

Its a waste of 2 subs just putting him on for ten mins, put him on ten mins to go, then another 10/15 mins after half time, there for he gets over 20mins playing time.

Maybe Tom was told before he got on the pitch to give 10 mins and lift the crowd up, maybe Tom knows hes going on to do as much damage is 10 mins as poss, knowing he can just give his all for 10 mins then get another break..when Koppy started out he only got roughly 10 mins at end of match never mind each half.

Macca used to put kids on bench and never even use them..a kid getting 20 mins of superleague every week is better than one getting 30 mins a week in toyota cup.

Tom signed a 2 year deal, turning dow the Rabbitohs offer if the same contract George was offered.

He wants to be his own man and will make a name for himself away from his brothers exploits. He won't be 21 when his Bulls deal is up and can re-assess where he wants to go from there.

I really hope he stays if he's got the potential of being another Sam. Luke on the other hand never progressed from being the promising youngster he was 6 years ago. If you want someone you can guarantee to spill the ball when he drives into the opposition defence - Luke is your man. Souths definately don't want Luke in their squad for his ability (or if that's true, they can have Ian Kirke too!).
