| I don't see why Royston should have to move to accommodate Kearney with how well he's been doing at FB, but at the same time Kearney is one of our best players. As far as problems go though having two good players fighting for a place is certainly one that can come up more often
I'd like to see Briggs and Jeffries back this week as I thought they were starting to get a good thing going recently but I get the feeling if Kearney is back it'll be Kearney and Jeffries which could be interesting to see how it goes.
Really looking forward to this game as there seems a bit of a buzz back around at the moment. COYB!

wouldnt mind that line up but suspect we'll see royston moved to to strengthen defence out wide which saints will target and kearney back at fullback. no disrespect to whitehead whos done a decent job at but royston has more experience there. whitehead back into 2nd row with donaldson to miss out. hopefully briggs back into halves as his kicking game really helps our game.

I agree with these amendments, from what i can deduce from Potter i think he will go like this, but we shall wait and see.

| Herbert needs more game time so I suspect he will be in the mix. Diskin should be dropped he's doing nothing and looks to be overweight. Stains will be a good test, maybe 4 weeks to early for the Team to start gelling properly and no more big injuries to contend with. If they play with the same mindset and physical intensity as they did against the Pies they won't be far off the right result!

So basically the team in my original post? should have a real chance against a depleted Saints..

| Scruton wont be fit at least until Hull and if not will defo be Leeds away, unless he is ahead of schedule !!
Ainscough is also due for return around this weekend too - but probably wont be match fit until Hull

was in t&a last week that both scruton and kearney were back in training and should be in contention for saints match. think scruton is ahead of schedule from original diagnosis. We seem to have been over estimating amount of time players would be out with injuries this year in general.

Im just going off of what Scrutes told me pal - He said 3 n half weeks ago he would be back in around 5 weeks so to me that suggests Hull if match fit............
BUT in saying that a hope he is back this weekend, cos with the likes of L'Estrange he plays like he wants to be here and be part of a winning team !!!

| not an exact science predicting recovery times though. he could have recovered faster than expected. there also may be an element of bringing him back a little quicker than originally planned given hargreaves injury although I'd hope we dont go down that route if possible.

| we coped (just about) because we have a set of players ready and able to make their own contribution even without a squad number between 1 and 17. and that strengthens the whole squad going forward.
