On a serious note it's important that we do make as much noise as possible on Friday, we have been badly let down by the players recently but booing them will not do anything to help. I really can't see anything other than an heavy defeat but if we get on the players backs it will only make things worse.

Sadly I will be sponging off the in-laws in the lakes, which might mean the horror of a 'sports bar' in Kendal as the only way of guaranteeing a viewing. Which has the double horror of no beer as I will have to drive there.

It won't be a heavy defeat. We don't really do heavy defeats, on the whole. We specialise in narrow defeats, and have awards for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

There may not be much [isign[/i of us putting it all together for 80 minutes any time soon, but we've played some good stuff on attack especially, and if we could do 80 minutes of the good stuff we have been playing in patches, then there would be no reason why we would not be able to beat Leeds. Being underdogs helps too.

How does it work - do you use waders? Do they jump in naked or clothed? And doesn't the water bailiff complain about the bubbles and detergent?

I'll be there and of course I'll still shout and cheer them on.....but i guess we are the minority on here and I wonder how the vocal majority (vocal yeah right) at the game will re-act if it starts becoming embarrassing.

I can handle a defeat but there absolutely needs to be a performance, if there's no performance then I want a victory...if we can't do either one of those then we're doomed.
