funny, the rest of us that drank carlsberg on le terrace at odsal seemed to have no problems the day after! (and thank goodness, the train I get has very inadequate, not to mention probably not soundproof, facilities!)

Disgusting.

Went to the Kashmir last night for the first time in a lot of years, and I'd say it was somewhat of a mixed bag.

Decent popadoms. Starters were top. Our lass' chicken pakora was decent enough, but I had the mixed kebab and it was excellent. £2.50 and far more than I've ever got anywhere else for a mixed kebab.

Main wasn't quite as good though. My Keema Mushroom Masala was nice enough, but not as good as the Punjab version of the same dish. Our lass' chicken korma wasn't so good though and had a couple of big bits of fat on the chicken (always a real put off for me). Roti & Chapatis were good, Garlic Naan had WAY too much garlic on. Much prefer just a little bit to taste it but not be drinking it.

Must admit I'm wary about meat in many places. Slightest bit of gristle - or worse bone - and I'm gipping.

Ooh, works do tonight. Off to Akbars in Leeds. I'll give that a miss, methinks

Our work's do tonight consists of going to the Fighting Cock and then Omar Khans.

I'm definitely going, despite the fact the Omar Khans is a bit 'whitey' for some with its tropical fish tank and abundance of cutlery

I'm easy but, as a suggestion, Pre match drinks in the Red Lion, then afterwards a curry? (and more beer maybe necessary), ridlerbull will even be gracing us with his presence.

Gare Girl too maybe if we can go to a curry place with knives and forks, cruet and silver service

I'm going for a birthday curry on thursday after the game along with some of the behind the tunnel people. After much deliberation we're going to the Karachi. I've booked for 10-30-11pm and if anyone wants to join us they would be more than welcome.
Similarly if you're planning a curry that evening and want to avoid me you know where I'll be.
And no I'm not going to tell you how old I am. It's too depressing
