I don't think he has done anything before so I for one think that everyone deserves a chance. Also if the"The Game Caller" has left then that might not be a bad thing because I'm sure the new guy won't try positioning himself to be something that he is not. Unlike The Game Caller who spouts off a lot things that he doesn't know to be true causing speculation and controversy. He is a good commentator and if he's been doing ages then so he should be. Asking round about Pete Dutton all I am hearing is that he is a good bloke with a good successful coaching career behind him who loves the Bulls. I'm also told that he is not one to shy away from a challenge and if comments on here are being seen by those in charge and he is made aware then he will get better.

The grass is always greener (no pun intended, fellow sufferers!!!) etc. Remember before Mick?! Their partnership improved Hobbo too And that is acknowledged by a number of posters, mostly I guess those who do not use t'witter. And Dutton gave Mick an acknowledgement in his first commentary when he paraphrased Mick's "is he a trapeze artist" phrase immortalised by BCB as part of the lead in to the broadcast, which I thought was a good touch.

I'm really struggling now, I can't make it to games these days but always listen on the radio. I used to watch the games on YouTube when they were uploaded but recently haven't been able to bring myself to watch them. Now with mick gone I don't really enjoy the radio commentary either. I have no idea what's going on as the commentary doesn't seem to follow accurately. There's no sense of atmosphere. I'm also a tad worried by the fact that the new commentary team are completely inept at identifying any players but certain players more than others
