I might be wrong but I get the impression Ainscough might be on his way. He was tweeting today about going to play golf while we were away at Wire. I believe he lives on the wrong side of the Pennines, so may have thought he would have gone to watch the game?

Halley did something similar by going to watch Man U, and a while later was on his way..... Wonder if Widnes are sniffing round him as he also had a spell on loan there in the past.

Again, could be wrong, but wouldn't be surprised to see him go.

Expect a backlash from the supporters of other clubs when we announce this guy, especially if it is at the expense of a young british winger in Ainscough.

I'll be a little sad to see Ainscough go to be honest. I thought he showed enough earlier in the season to suggest he might have some potential. 100% effort whilst in a Bulls shirt.. more than can be said for some of our 1 year signings.

Good, I would welcome news of his extension even more than that of Purtell signing.

No guarantees that he's not talking to other clubs though. Or that the deal we offer is any good. Personally I hope he stays as we've not seen him with a good run in the team yet and the lad scores tries.

The signing of Purtell is just another embarrassment for the British game.

Sod the British game. If it helps get us out of the stinking hole we are in, I'm up for it.
