Just been to get a couple of tops, I was disappointed to find they are the original style modelled by Langley and not the style shown in the later pictures which were released.

I agree, I think the Mk2 shirt definately looks better than Mk1

didnt someone say the RFL had a problem with the shirt design as originally shown with langley. Something to do with the slashes interfering with the numbers?. If correct then the amended one l'estrange had on is probably to correct this and will be player issue. The original design had probably been already manufactured ( or at least the current batch). Wether the amended design ever becomes available as a replica shirt is an interesting problem for the club. Will certainly make any player issue shirts from this year available as prizes etc, real collectors items if the amended design is never released through club shop.

I'm not sure why they changed it but they definately did. I presume the top L'Estrange was wearing in the photo was a player top and Langley was wearing a supporters top. If that is the case the club should of made it general knowledge that when ordering a top you would receive the supporters top.

As previously said the stripes are different, the sleeves are longer, the RAB stripes are smaller.

As Said before mate a few times, i was told by the club the shirt was altered due RFL numbering issues, the way in which a number is stamped onto it was a problem with the initial design, particularly the angles of the =#FF0000R=#FFBF00A=#000000B blades.

So, does that mean that moving forward the design will be a la heath l'estrange pic but the club has stock of the Langley vintage?

I cant quite believe that if you buy a REPLICA shirt it is actually a different design to the actual one the players wear. Surely this misses the whole point in replica shirts. This will put me right off buying one!
