Well seen as the thread is ressurected, next year, unless we sign some absolute class and retain a few players that are out of contract then season ticket sales will go through the floor. Thats only going to serve to make the downward spiral steeeper. I can't feel anything other thatn despair for 2010.

Unless we sign some proven players in key positions (hooker, halfback etc) and get a new coach we'll finish in the bottom three next year.

I'm pretty positive about next year.

Expectations for next year. Well if we aim low we won't end up too disappointed will we?

Agree unless we do we will be a bottom team for quite sometime, we need big changes, there is signs of players coming for next season but the players need to work for each other and they did that for parts of the game today but then large amounts of them missing.

Hopefully a top 4 would be my ideal thing or a trip to a challenge cup final would be nice too. Could be dreaming for a while though......................

Looks like yet another substantial change round on the playing staff front. Increasingly probable that there will be big changes on the coaching staff front. Potential limitation on playing staff budget because of collapsing attendances. Anyone expecting a team to be challenging for honours in such circumstances has got to be blessed with considerable optimism, IMO.

But, all that said, you never know...
