| Quote: Nothus "Yeah they'll count on the non fed list, but we're allowed 7 non fed players and if we release Lauaki and Uaisele we'll have plenty of space.'"
True but the I'd rather they weren't wasted like we already have done the past few seasons.
Keep one or two free for next year's Jamie Soward!!

| [list[/list Quote: hindle xiii "Well playing guess who on the London Broncos first team squad page on their website I've narrowed it down to Iliess Macani and Jon Magrin. Or Wes Naiqama but he'd be 34.
I just can't get enthusiastic about the possibility of Macani, just too erratic or plain not very good.'"
Well that game of guess who ended quickly, you guessed correctly straight away. I was hoping you was gonna ask if they had a beard or wore glasses
But seriously yes I agree with you, it doesn't really suggest exciting signings

| Magrin looks a prospect though.
How many Broncos are we after? Getting a bit daft now!

Keyes and Magrin will both be known to Rohan from his time spent there a few years ago. Both 21 so won't be demanding huge wages and still young enough to improve.
Who is the winger then? Macani, or Naiqama?

| Smith was at London in 2004 I think when he was talking about Sykes, reading an interview Keyes met or came across Smith while he was on a trip in Aus I believe.

| Quote: hindle xiii "The problem with Slyney, Verlinden or Achurch is they're overseas quota fodder IMO.'"
The problem with Verlinden is that he is cr@p
Makes one big run or hit in a match but otherwise does sod all. There is a reason Fev gave up on him and shipped him out to Donny on loan mid season before he went to Worky.
You'd be better off keeping Walker or Crossley, both offer more than Verlinden.

| The Crossley to Toronto thing makes no sense. Wasn't he saying a few weeks ago that he'd love to stay at Bradford? He's certainly good enough for a new deal.

We've missed some leadership on the field that he would of provided and he is definitely a better option than Blythe at centre. Though Blythe had a decent game against Leigh to be fair.

I think a few from that list won't be here next season
Purtell - wasn't there talk of him retiring?
Halafihi - probably will just be quietly released and sign for Swinton permanently
Campbell - wouldn't be surprised to see him head back to Batley or similar
Lovegrove - probably retiring due to head injuries
Might also find a way to get Mendeika off the books as well

I disagree. He knocked on for Clare's try, no doubt about it. How that was given, I'll never know. Other than that, it must be awful for a winger to hear he's playing outside Blythe. The bloke never passes. He catches and runs the ball in himself. If he doesn't knock on, he makes a couple of yards and plays the ball. The chances of a pass or offload are slim to none. Total waste of time.

| What we need is a better team than we have.
I'm not sure we'll get it, but the people that are going are a part of why we are a mediocrity rather than outstanding, and the decline has been painful.
You can't logically completely absolve any of the players apart from the newcomers, whether they're staying or going, because they as a group got us to the sorry place where we are, but the other thing we definitely need is only players who actually choose to be here. To me, they tend to be the ones that I can't ever fault for effort, such as O'Brien.

| I know Johnny Campbell had a bad game (against Sheffield IIRC) but I do hope we don't let him go as I think once fully fit and given a fair crack of the whip could be an excellent player to have in the squad next year. Noticed he got MOM for Keighley at weekend and scored a 100m try.

Totally agree. He was very good when he was at Batley
