Nowhere does it say Dane is out for the season so I wouldn't celebrate too much yet...
Beattie mentioned some knocks for the bash so I reckon they are not being risked if they are not 100% which is exactly the right call. It's just our luck we play outstanding with a full strength squad vs KR with little chance of winning and when we get to a 'winnable' game the injuries bite
