I really didn't see this run of losses (apart from the Salford win) coming after our brilliant start to the season.

Well, Rovers' next three games are against Hudds, Catalans away then Saints away, so they might not be picking up any more points for a few weeks.

It's not over yet, we're still above them thanks to the points difference, I still think we can pip them for 8th spot.

Be interesting to see how Cummins views this defeat. It sounded like both sides were lethargic and pretty poor for the majority of the match. Wonder just how much the defeats has knocked the confidence because we just don't seem to be able to string a performance together at the moment. We don't have the best of records at Hull KR so it certainly wasn't a game I 'expected us to win' but to be leading for the most of the game and concede so many late tries is disappointing. Worse still it sounded as though quite a few we're directly off our own mistakes.

Can't help but feel we might look back on this one as a costly defeat come Sept.

Disappointing result but it is far from over, Cummins has a difficult week ahead. Lets hope Saints have a tough game tomorrow night and we can actually play for 80 minutes next week.

All teams go through bad spells, playing the top 3 and Leeds in six games was never going to be easy, especially with our thin squad. Some people are acting like it was going to be easy making the playoffs, before the season started I'm sure we would all have been happy with 7th place at this stage of the season.

had we been flirting around seventh all season then maybe so. But we are dropping like a stone at the moment.

I also don't think anyone has suggested it would be easy to make the play-offs. It would be a great achievement if we did. Sadly it looks like it won't happen.

Oh and Elliot Whitehead? A total liability.

Really hope we do the job against Saint Helens and Widnes the game after, thankfully there is a break in the fixtures coming up, hopefully we can rest the players up and get them performing like they were at the start of the year, hopefully have the forwards fired up and Nas back - the forwards look very lost without him.
Be nice to see the Bulls tackling like they were at the start of the season - turning opponents on their backs, etc.

Oh don't get me wrong, the recent results have been very disappointing, but it seems a few people got a little carried away earlier in the season when we were sat so high in the table. It was obvious that when we picked up injuries we would struggle, especially when we had a run of fixtures against top opposition like we just have.

We may not make the playoffs or we may turn it around, to be honest just being in contention at the moment for me is an achievement.

A number of players are out of form, not just Whitehead, can't understand why Donaldson was dropped, unless he had an injury of course. A number of players don't look fit and I do wonder if a few players are being forced to play with injuries, Scruton and Foster didn't look right last weekend.

Honestly, what can you say about that?
Firstly, what a shocking view away fans have at Craven Park now. I really hope it is temporary while the work is going on, but it appalling. I don't know how they have the front to charge £20 for that.
As to the game, we played dumb, big time. Giving away stupid penalties to give them field position and then untimately a try. Yes "homer" Hicks gave us nothing, but tough, makeit hard for him to penalise us, not keep doing the same ruddy thing! Bombing at least three pretty easy chances, kicking out on the full at least twice, and so on. With 15 mins to go, just 4 points down, attacking their line with 3 tackles left, did we really kick the ball straight into Dobson's arms? Unbelievable.
And then gifting them another straight from the kick off. Unbelievable again.
I don't know what has happened to this team. If we carried on doing the basic right I think we would win, but we can't even seem to do those.
I think we are in free fall out of the 8 now to be honest.

I assume Sammut and Bateman both injured? I hope they are not serious, they looked about our two best players in the first half.

All season I said it was between ourselves and the two Hull sides to complete the 8. After Friday I reduced that to one Hull side we are battling with. After today, make it zero. We can't go do so why not give some youth guys a go now? Gotta be better than some of the she-hite we have at the moment.

As for Francis Cummins? Needs to start earning his wage IMO.
