Not sure if this is the right thread but, whilst I'm pleased about long deal for Whitehead and possibly Bateman, I'm much more concerned about the lack of a long deal for Tom Burgess. Do we know if he is one of the players with whom we're talking? Considering Bateman's deal runs to 2014 anyway surely Tom's is much the more pressing situation.

Today's article on the Bulls talks of prioritising the 17 who are OCC at the end of the season, though I'm not sure that [ievery[/i one of the 17 will be retained. Definitely agree that efforts must be made to keep Tom. |

I'd be very surprised if Tom Burgess signed for another Super League. If he was to leave the Bulls then I'd imagine it'd be for South Sydney.
